Gravity Will Have The Audience Floating Away With Hope
A Quote By
By Art Byrd Months ago, I saw the trailer for the movie Gravity. I thought a movie about two people trapped in space, was not that interesting to me. Even, if the movie did have George Clooney and Sandra Bullock in it. Boy, was I wrong. I saw Gravity in 3-D, which I highly recommend. The greatest thing that a movie can do is take you on a journey that becomes a test of survival. Gravity does this over and over. The story begins when a U.S space shuttle crew are doing some repairs for a technical problem outside the ship. Sandra Bullock plays Ryan Stone, a mission scientist, who is very uncomfortable in space. She is working on fixing the ship’s problem. Veteran astronaut, Matt Kowalsky played by George Clooney is hovering around the shuttle. This is his last space mission. Kowalsky makes an off-the-wall comment” Houston, I have a bad feeling about this mission.” His instinct was right. Kowalsky and the crew get a distress call from Houston regarding some debris coming their way from a Russian satellite that was shot down by the Russians.
“I’ve learned that success comes in a very prickly package. Whether you choose to accept it or not is up to you. It`s what you choose to do with it, the people you choose to surround yourself with. Always choose people that are better than you. Always choose people that challenge you and are smarter than you. Always be the student. Once you find yourself to be the teacher, you’ve lost it.” Actress Sandra Bullock, currently starring in Gravity with George Clooney, in theaters now.
