A Message from the Principal

Purpose Ocoee High School is committed to building a “Healthy Community” for all students where the fundamental purpose is learning.

We are quickly approaching the end of the 2017-2018 school year, and a record setting one it has been thusfar! Students are continuing to work hard in their academics and on their End of Course Exams to insure they complete this school year with grades that meet their goals and exceed the minimum graduation requirement of a 2.0. This is certainly the season of testing and I know our students are prepared. However, we know that these high stakes tests can affect young people in many ways. Some students “act out” at this time of year while others “shut down.” The stress can definitely affect a student’s emotional state and their grades. Parents, you can help. Have your student attend one of our tutoring sessions, make sure you are on top of their grades via Progress Book, and most of all, let them know that you are there for them at this stressful time of life. Together, we can get insure they succeed.
