NIGHT Back to School Night BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – AUG 22 at 6:45. Parents will follow their student’s 7-period schedule and meet teachers. About 10 minutes will be spent in each classroom as the teacher gives a brief summary of the expectations for the school year. We hope all parents will come hear Dr. Jackson and then “walk their student’s schedule” on August 22.
Noted Speaker Back to School Night Dr. Jesse Jackson III - prominent speaker specializing in at-risk student achievement, nationally recognized school improvement advisor, best-selling author of many books including Don’t Kick Them Out will speak at RHS on these dates. • Aug 2 – RHS staff and community leaders • Aug 9 – RHS students during school • Aug 22 – Parents from 5:30 – 6:30
Parents, please let the sponsor advertisers know you appreciate them!
3 Registration RHS registration will be Saturday, August 4 from 8 – 3 in the cafeteria. All students will need to attend registration to pick up their final schedule, pay for a parking permit and receive a bus pass. The registration fee is $5. Since students have had access to their schedules since May, there will be no schedule changes after August 2. If you have concerns, please see a counselor by August 2. Students will receive a postcard at the end of July explaining the registration process. Students who turned in their completed packet will have a green sticker (express registration line). Students who have a yellow sticker indicates proof of residence is needed. Students who have a red sticker must complete the entire registration packet.
