I am a visual artist with Brazilian roots and Dutch origins. My journey into the world of art began at a young age, fueled by my curiosity, innate desire to create and an entrepreneurial and philosophical spirit that would eventually shape my artistic direction. As
I navigate through the various stages of my career, my passion for drawing has remained constant, often finding myself doodling in unexpected moments. While studying business administration, I realized that my true calling lay outside the corporate world.
I embarked on a decade-long journey as an illustrator and visual artist, working with companies and campaigns while honing my craft. However, I soon felt the need to break free from assignment-based work and explore my personal creative side. Around 2020, I made the bold decision to focus on my own artistic vision, embracing the freedom of unbridled self-expression. My artistic inspiration comes from a wide range of
sources – from the intricate details of M.C. Escher's works to the fantastical scenes in Jheronimus Bosch’ and Salvador Dali's paintings. Growing up, I was captivated by these artists' ability to create entire worlds within their art. My influences also extend to popular culture, like the novel shapes and color combinations of graffiti in Rio de Janeiro's streets, Dragonball Z, superhero comics, and not to forget, the colorful worlds and secret passageways
of Super Mario games, all serving as muses for my artistic development.
As I evolved as an artist, I began to merge these diverse influences into a unique style, blending the abstract with figurative, that defies categorization. I usually start with making an abstract background and follow with looking at what shapes I can tease out of the backdrop. I don’t start with a plan, but like a psychedelic revelation, things
slowly take shape, sometimes more, sometimes less defined. I invite viewers to take a closer look at my work, where hidden details and secrets await discovery. My art is not just about aesthetics; it's about the journey of self-discovery and the exploration of one's own creative potential.
My upcoming exhibition in Charleston, South Carolina, marks an exciting new chapter in my artistic journey. The
event will take place on October 4th and 5th, offering art enthusiasts a chance to witness my innovative approach to visual storytelling firsthand. I’m excited to immerse them in a world of color, texture, and imagination and to see how others connect with my work on a deeper level. I believe that creativity knows no limits, and that by embracing one's unique perspective, anything can be achieved. My story is a testament to the power of

following one's passion and the importance of staying true to oneself.
As I continue to explore new creative avenues I aspire to inspire audiences around the world. My exhibition in Charleston promises to be a memorable event – don't miss out on the chance to experience it for yourself! Mark your calendars for October 4th and 5th, and prepare yourself for an unforgettable artistic experience.
