Legno Massello: Qualità Natura Tradizione

La nostra materia prima è da sempre il legno massello. Un materiale naturale e vivo che alla bellezza unisce la garanzia senza fine di un ambiente in armonia con gli equilibri dell’uomo e della natura. Nato per durare attraverso le generazioni, il nostro mobile ha come alleato il tempo che negli anni lo arricchisce di fascino e valore. La scelta del legname è la prima tappa importante del cammino verso la qualità. Noi l’affidiamo solo ad esperti che seguono con passione e conoscenza ogni fase del progetto dalla stagionatura alla lavorazione. Tutti i legni vengono essiccati e stagionati fino a raggiungere una percentuale di umidità del 13% necessaria e sufficiente a garantire la stabilità del mobile e la lavorabilità del legno.

Costruzione. E’ il momento in cui alla conoscenza del legno uniamo l’applicazione delle tecniche secolari dei maestri ebanisti. Di qui l’intelligenza degli incastri a coda di rondine e dei fondi e delle schiene di cassetti ed armadi diamantati liberi, affinché i movimenti del legno non compromettano nel tempo la struttura del mobile. Intarsi ed intagli rifiniti interamente a mano.

Lucidatura e finiture. La lucidatura infine contempla fino a quattordici interventi diversi. Tra questi, la tinteggiatura con terre rare ed acqua, la stesura di un generoso strato di cera antiquaria naturale e la lustratura a mano con panni di lana. Completano l’opera particolari importantissimi come le finiture. Maniglie, serrature e chiavi di pregio sia per disegno che per i materiali.

Created to last for generations, our furniture only improves over time, becoming further enriched over the years and increasing in value and appeal. Selecting the right wood is the first step to ensuring quality. The wood is dried and seasoned until it reaches the optimum level of humidity to guarantee the stability of the furniture and the workability of this living, natural material. As well as being beautiful, solid wood brings a timelessness to any home and reflects the perfect balance of man and nature.

Construction. This is where a genuine feel for the wood combines with centuries of furniture - making tradition. Superior joinery, dry - mounted, floating chamfered panels for drawer bottoms, drawer backs and wardrobes which allow freedom of movement and protect the structure. Inlays and carvings finished entirely by hand.

Polishing and finishing. The polishing phase can have as many as fourteen different stages. Among these, colouring using rare clays and water, the application of a generous layer of natural antique wax polish and hand polishing using woollen cloths. Each piece is finished with the finest accessories, handles, locks and keys.
