ANNUAL REPORT

MESSAGE

from the Chair of the Board of Governors and President of Assiniboine Community College Our mission of transforming lives and strengthening Manitoba through applied education and research remains central to the operations of Assiniboine Community College. The Board continues to advocate for the development of the North Hill Campus as a way to grow our quality programs responsive to Manitoba’s labour market. The college is committed to doubling its number of graduates by 2025 and is well on track, with 1,160 earning their diplomas and certificates this past year. Michael Cox, Chair

And graduates are putting their skills to work! Our most recent Graduate Satisfaction & Employment Survey shows that 94 per cent of recent graduates who were seeking work are currently employed and more than three-quarters of those jobs are permanent. On average they earn more than $45,700 a year. Furthermore, 93 per cent of graduates choose to stay in Manitoba following their studies, helping to strengthen our provincial economy and contribute to a skilled workforce. The Board of Governors, along with college leadership, would like to make special note of the commendable contributions of ACC faculty and staff members this year and their efforts in improving our college for the benefit of students, industry partners and communities. It is through their commitment, collaboration and passion for education that ACC continues to thrive.
