From indispensable item of clothing to the object of desire, the women shoes exert indisputable fascination on the social imaginary, becoming a key player in the fashion industry in the last hundred years. An exclusive display and selling space that captivates the consumer’s eyes, appealing to the touching and the choice of products, comfort to sit and trying their shoes, as if at home, was the required by the Luiza Barcelos Shoes range. The space, designed by architect Peter Lazaro, combines the roughness of rough stone walls, the warmth of wood and the softness of the linen curtains and carpets to create an atmosphere that is both open and intimate, from the inviting plans of large glass window and the door store. The resulting plans and textures are dramatically accentuated by the predominance of low, earthy tones, enhanced by lighting and a set of mirrors supported on blocks gabion. The result is the almost fluid appeal that firstly catches the eyes and then invites the passersby to walk in through the interior of the store, marked by refined, comfortable and cozy elegance a feminine brand. The context of the store reflects the identity of the brand's products, highlighted by simple lines of the furniture exhibition run on wood, glass and steel, in a way reminiscing tables and workbenches.

The normal material – paper cups in our daily practices have been transformed into a smooth delicate Skin for construction, which has given new life to the perception of Normality and given an amazing look to the entire booth. The visitors were impressed by the appearance of the booth -- natural beige color, the pure smooth and majestically stretched structure, and the light and pleasing materials.

It consists of a luxury sunglasses shop in the shop established inside a Francis FĂŠrent store. The structure is made of oak wood and is based on the principle of the half -lapped joint. This geometrical thread is used as shelving for glasses cases. The cases are white -coloured and lighted individually in order to create a contrast with the rest of the structure. The cases are displayed randomly, allowing a certain dynamic.

FAK3 have been commissioned to design a series of experimental luxury boutiques for ‘Erno Laszlo’ in Hong Kong and China, who are pioneers of exclusive skincare, treating the likes of renowned icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Duchess of Windsor, Greta Garbo, Hubert de Givenchy. FAK3 were allowed total freedom, in creating a new and refreshed retail identity, and one of the first design moves was to explore ‘Erno Lazslo’s the rich brand history and to configure a new shopping experience. Johnny Wong and Miho Hirabayashi created an iconic branded retail concept, which blurred handcrafted and computer generated modeling to create a collection of fluid white sculptural forms. This formal style they have coined ‘Liquid Baroque’, as signature pieces for the new retail expansion for Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. Fluid forms flow and are uniquely defined by context of each site, this is further referenced by movement and optimized display creating a different experience for each store.
