Play adventure trail at Gosford
The ultimate play adventure experience
Discover the ultimate outdoor adventure experience - the first of its kind on the island of Ireland.
Now open, these five stunning play structures are featured along a 3km woodland trail. Located outside Markethill, Gosford Forest Park invites you to weave your way around the woodland estate and discover the ultimate play adventure.
Complementing the existing miles of walking and cycling trails the new outdoor adventure play trails were designed using the most natural materials from wood and rope, and exquisitely landscaped to sympathetically blend with Gosford’s beautiful surroundings.
With £1.6m already invested to establish Gosford Forest Park on an unprecedented scale across the island of Ireland it offers maximum play value, inclusivity and challenge for children of all ages.
We were delighted to work with Outdoor Recreation NI, Doran Consulting Ltd, award-winning architects Davies White Ltd and contractor Gerald Davies Ltd to deliver the £850,000 development, which was part-funded under the Rural Tourism Scheme of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs.
