JAKE TURCATO

The supportive and progressive environment at ACE Community Colleges Lismore empowered me to enrol in the Diploma of Community Services course. I was looking to further my skills within the Community Services sector where I have worked for several years. My trainer had vast experience and knowledge in the Community Services sector in Australia and the local area. With a small class of fourteen likeminded peers, we were able to bounce information and experience around to gain knowledge and build supportive peer relationships. ACE Community Colleges Lismore effectively employs trainers who encourage and inspire their students to achieve their goals as well as providing lots of individual attention and feedback. My trainer was very supportive in class, as well as being contactable via email to offer a more flexible and individualised learning option. I benefitted from ACE Community Colleges having a flexible payment scheme, which allowed me to pay off my course throughout my studies, with no burden of a lump sum. The result of me going to ACE Community Colleges Lismore has seen me personally accomplish not one, but two Diplomas. This is something I didn’t think I was capable of achieving before the commencement of my first course. Due to the industry relevant training I received at ACE Community Colleges I have gained a broader knowledge of the Community Services sector and greater responsibility in my work place. I would recommend ACE Community Colleges Lismore to anyone who is hoping to advance in their field or even change the course of their career.
