Thinking about the school year in our advisory class, I am filled with joy and pride It was an amazing time spent together, when the students were reflecting on their personal and academic progress, but also on adolescence and world issues We were working on solving the serious matters, but we also found time to relax, have fun, celebrating birthdays, playing games, dancing, and exercising – focusing on the development of the body and mind. I will never forget them practicing yoga moves and showing me creative dancing routines. I saw them making friends, growing up, maturing, struggling with - some problems, but also being excited about their successes There were some goodbyes in the middle of the semester, and the students who left were kept in our memories, being fondly recalled. We were all learning how to say goodbye, seeing the process of change as a positive one. It was a great year thanks to working with such open-minded, friendly, respectful, fun, but also caring and self-reflective group. It was also a pleasure to see my advisory students being fully involved and imaginative during their drama performances or art making. All the best in your future endeavours Year 9!
