Tip for families: Geocaching - treasure hunt Welcome to Wusel‘s treasure hunt in Pertisau The rucksack which you will receive at the Information office in Pertisau will contain all the necessary equipment for the treasure hunt. Wusel‘s treasure hunt is a simple multi-cache hunt in the surrounding area. The eight family-friendly stations are scattered around the village of Pertisau. The duration depends on you - from two hours to a day’s outing - because some of the stations invite you to linger. You will need to find out the correct target coordinates to find the treasure. At each waypoint you will find a clue that will bring you a step closer to your goal. Additional information is available at the Information offices of the Achensee holiday region or by phone at +43 (0) 595300-0.

Tip for families: Wusel Lake Trail Complete all fields on the Wusel postcard - receive a surprise gift The lakeside path between Maurach and Achenkirch offers another highlight for families. The Wusel lake trail with several experience stations is packed with fun activities, and those who complete the full tour will receive a reward.

What do I have to bring You will need sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing, a rucksack which you can carry yourself and swimwear. Please bring your AchenseeCard for the free bus transfers. If the planned activities need to be cancelled because of bad weather, we will use our children‘s party room where we can paint, do handicrafts, play games, and more. Just be ready for surprises. Minimum number of participants: 3 children!

Our childcarers will meet you at the meeting places. We will take the public bus to our respective starting points. Please arrive on time, otherwise we cannot guarantee participation in the children‘s programme, as the buses must comply with the timetables. Please do not forget to bring your AchenseeCard, without the card you will have to pay for the bus ticket.

Good to know Tip for families: Bread making course A tasty experience for the whole family From 10.00 to 12.00 on the dates below. Learn all about ingredients, mixing the dough, kneading and shaping as you make your own brown bread to take home. Registration required by phone at 05246/6202.

Our children‘s programme is free! We only charge a contribution of EUR 7.00 per child for food. Family day on Thursdays: Adults pay EUR 10.00 for lunch (excluding drinks for children and adults).

Tip for families: Panoramic circular walk Alpine animal circular walk From the Bärenbadalm mountain hut in Pertisau we walk back to the Alpengasthaus Karwendel and the top station of the Karwendel cable car. Meet the animals of the Zwölferkopf with adventure stations and dwarf story and enjoy a day filled with education and fun.

Our Kids Club Achensee offers a varied weekly children‘s programme. Our childcarers will ensure that your holidays are full of fun and creativity. You will explore our holiday region and discover many a treasure! Don’t miss this adventure and spend cool holidays at Lake Achensee!

Monday: A day in the life of a baker and farmer Location: Adler Bakery Achenkirch and Mesnerhof farm Today, Wusel the Water Spirit‘s dream is coming true. We start our day at the bakery in Achenkirch. Master baker Alexander shows us the bakery, and together we will make fresh bread rolls for our delicious picnic in Steinberg. Fortified by our baked goods, we will visit Maria and Josef at the Mesnerhof. A varied programme awaits us at the farm, from harvesting hay and feeding the animals to exploring the barn. We will also plant our own little tree!

Tuesday: Climbing adventure with Kraxel Kris Location: Buchau, Maurach Put on your sturdy hiking boots and show Kraxel Kris your climbing skills and how you whizz through the air on the Flying Fox. Today’s activities include building forest huts and viewing the world from a new perspective through bug eye viewers, and we will enjoy a proper mountaineer‘s snack. Certified guides will provide helmets and ropes to ensure a safe adventure.

Thursday: Pasture day with Hen Hanna Location: Buchauer Alm, Maurach Hen Hanna wants to spend the summer on the mountain pasture together with her best friends Cow Karoline and Sheep Olli. But this is not so easy because the farmer disagrees. But Hen Hanna has devised a plan … If you can find Hen Hanna, you will be rewarded with a delicious lunch and a wonderful mountain panorama. Enjoy an action-packed day with your family on the mountain pasture.

Wednesday: Pony riding and Indian Fest Location: Kinderhotel Buchau, Maurach Let Horse Paul Gaul take you into the exciting world of the Indians and experience a fun-filled day in the Achensee holiday region! Wearing the proper paint, we will set out for unforgettable adventures! Riding ponies, grilling bread on the stick and lots of games are waiting for you.

Monday: Baking course for children Location: Adler Bakery, Achenkirch Today, a special experience is waiting for all junior bakers. Learn all about ingredients, kneading, proofing and shaping. At the end of the course, you can take the freshly baked goods home with you.

Friday: Out and about with Bee Liene Location: Alpen Caravan Park Achensee, Achenkirch Finally! Today is the day! Bee Liene is set to forage for colourful flowers for the first time! However, before she is allowed to start, the queen bee demands a test of courage from her. But now it’s finally time to go! We will learn fascinating facts about the amazing creatures and explore their habitat in a playful way. Get ready for a fun-filled and action-packed day, complete with an exhilarating raft ride on Lake Achensee. Please bring swimwear.

Wednesday: Family night scouting game

Monday evening: Family hike under the stars Location: Häusererbühel Chapel, Maurach Lights at night! When darkness has fallen at Lake Achensee, we will set out on the night walk with you and your parents. A fabulous experience for the whole family.

Meeting point: 20.00 at the Marienkirche church in Maurach.

Location: Alpen Caravan Park Achensee, Achenkirch Adventurers and fantasy enthusiasts watch out! An enchanted creature is hiding in the forests of Achenkirch. Find the sorcerer, solve the mystery, help to free the wood fairy and become heroes of the night! An exciting scouting game for the whole family.

Wednesday: Pony riding Location: Kinderhotel Buchau, Maurach Attention all pony-mad children! Today we will take a stroll to the riding stables. We will saddle the ponies and off we go.

Return time: approx. 15.00 at the Atoll Achensee in Maurach.

Cost: per child EUR 5.00.

Thursday: Pasture day with Hen Hanna Location: Buchauer Alm, Maurach Follow Hen Hanna to the pasture and you will be rewarded with a delicious lunch and a fantastic mountain panorama. Get ready for an action-packed family day on the mountain pasture.

Meeting point: 9.30 at the car park above the Rofan cable car.

Cost: Contribution for lunch per child EUR 7.00, per adult EUR 10.00 (beverages for children and adults are not included).
