Pre-Vocational Services Provides vocational skills in a habilitative environment. Supports include personal and work adjustment trainings designed to foster an appropriate understanding of the work environment. Programs include paid contract work and soft skills support groups. Programs are located in the Strip District, West Mifflin, Wilkinsburg, Bridgeville and Greensburg.

Vocational Supports ACHIEVA offers a wide variety of possibilities to help people with disabilities achieve their employment goals.
ACHIEVA offers: Pathway to Employment Provides individuals with disabilities multiple points of entry into different vocational supports leading to community employment outcomes. Pathway to Employment includes any of ACHIEVA’s Pre-Vocational programs. It includes participation in the weekly Job Club Program and the Next Steps Group that meet each weekday and goes to community partner sites on a monthly basis eventually working with a team of Employment Specialists to achieve a good community job fit with ongoing supports as needed.
Community Employment Provides individuals with disabilities employment training and opportunities. Employment Specialists provide in-depth, up-to-date and accurate information on how employment plans may affect an individual’s cash benefits and develop an employment plan around the needs of each individual.
Programs are designed to support a diverse group of individuals with disabilities. Supports are individualized, flexible and tailored to fit specific needs. All components of the program are geared towards assisting participants in attaining their personal outcomes. Programs are located in the Strip District, West Mifflin and Greensburg. Participants learn about themselves and the world around them through structured and enriching activities including: • Functional academics • Art • Music • Exercise • Community outings
