Dedicated in producing high quality and skilful communication graduates, as a leader of communication institutes in Indonesia,LSPR – Jakarta creates an interactive learning environment and research structure as well as recognizes the need to globalize the next generation,by collaborating with other international organizations, institutions, and universities. LSPR – Jakarta is now globally recognized as the leading graduate school of communication in Indonesia. It pioneers creative excellence programmes, events and activities that have become references for other education institutions especially in the communication field. Credible media such as Tempo, Mix Magazine and Sindo Media have awarded LSPR - Jakarta as the Best Graduate School of Communication in Indonesia. LSPR – Jakarta is accredited A for Undergraduate Programme and accredited B for Postgraduate Programme by BAN PT (National Accreditation Board for Higher Education) and has ISO 9001:2008 and IWA 2:2007 certifications for its quality standard and has been acknowledged locally and internationally. LSPR – Jakarta is recognized internationally, offers international programmes which include cooperation with United Kingdom, Australia, United States of America, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, The Netherlands, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau and China.
LSPR acquired a license to run an Undergraduate Programme for Bachelor’s Degree in 1999, concentrating on the six areas, most relevant to the communications business in Indonesia. LSPR offers Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, with Majors in the following areas:

The LSPR Student League is the umbrella organization that embodies all existing student organizations, clubs and communities in LSPR Jakarta. The LSPR Student League – a group of student organizations governed by principles which adhere to the teachings of progress; foster ideals in the pursuit of higher excellence; provide students with a solid foundation of maturity and wisdom to prepare them to face the challenges in the workplace; a ground for the enhancement of effective communication, interaction, and cooperation. ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN) was formed as a platform for Public Relations (PR) Leaders, educators, practitioners and others in 10 ASEAN Member countries with the aim to connect, meet, discuss, share current issues and create integrated programs that will develop the quality of PR in ASEAN countries. With the objective to champion connectivity, friendship and mutual understanding among ASEAN member countries, gaining skills and strength from one another’s PR best practices; APRN will conduct regular activities that benefit PR Societies in general especially its members. Any collaborative effort to strengthen the ties among the ASEAN member countries will be off the utmost priority for the network.

LSPR Centre of Study on ASEAN PR is wholeheartedly endorsed by LSPR -
Jakarta for the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015. The scope of activities at the LSPR Centre of study on ASEAN PR is education, research and community services. Educational activities will take place such as seminars, workshops, discussions and internships. It also conducts scientific assessments of the ASEAN regional issues on Public Relations. Community service activities include the socialization, dissemination and counselling to increase knowledge and awareness of ASEAN stakeholders. With the support from competent lecturers and researchers from LSPR-Jakarta, it is expected that the Centre of Study on ASEAN PR is able to conduct studies on the competitiveness of Indonesia and ASEAN Countries.

London School Centre of Autism Awareness (LSCAA) is a special division formed by Mrs. Prita
Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR in 2008. LSCAA is one of the corporate social responsibilities, carrying out many activities that were organized for the community, and then later became a formal division in LSPR – Jakarta. LSCAA provide a consultation service and training at regular intervals. The programs that have been conducted by LSCAA are Teacher Training, movie screening, play day, parent/siblings group discussion, company training and Autism Awareness Festival. Autism Awareness Festival is an annual event to commemorate World Autism Day. LSCAA is an international member of Autism Association Singapore, Autism Resource Centre Singapore, Autism Research Institute San Diego USA, and Global Autism Collaboration.

London School Beyond Academy (LSBA) is the development of LSCAA
which formed its own personal special educational institution. LSBA continues to raise awareness by showing the potential of special needs children and provides them with the skills to be able to work in the future. The programs offered in LSBA are extracurricular classes, which develop the skills of autistic children by learning Graphic Design, Piano, Guitar, Drum, and Yoga, and as an educational institution formed for Vocational Education to acquire skills for citizens who successfully passed high school and would still like to carry on studying. The vocational education consists of three different programs, such as, Graphic Design, Multi-media, and Performing Arts.

Public Relations competence is not only associated with knowledge, skills and attitude, but also in understanding the necessary PR code of ethics as the foundation of ethics in the profession. To achieve the needs of plenary PR, the PR practitioner must take a proficiency test to gain a certificate of competence accredited by BNSP Indonesia. Competence means knowledge, skills, attitude and appropriate professional attitude. LSP-LSPR aims to establish standardization of the scope of work based on the levels within Public Relations.

LSPR Student Talent Management Centre (STMC) cultivates the innate talent of artistic LSPR students through its different cultural organizations representing Dance, Theatre, Film and Broadcast, and communication arts. They are trained not only to become excellent performers but excellent managers as well. These groups also hold outreach programs to promote the arts in society through performances. STMC will also give students the opportunity to be involved in the industry, because it will be interesting to see the connection between industry and a student’s talent and academic performance. This division develops and enhances the talents of student artists to become world class performers, event, and arts managers. STMC deliver learning based art to develop knowledge in society.

LSPR - Jakarta established the Centre for Excellence in English, or more commonly known as English Division, in 2006. English Division supports LSPR students in their acquirement, confidence and competence in English for the purpose of academic and business achievement. The international certification, English for Business Communication, gained by students in their fourth semester equips them for success both in internship and their future career as a communication professional, with the ability to use English as a communication medium in the arena of the Indonesian and ASEAN business community. English Division also provides support to the LSPR community as a whole with English language support.

LSPR - Jakarta established the Center for Excellence in Media Training or known now as LSPR Media Center, back in 2006. It supports the creativity of its students to achieve its role in building a vital, vibrant community and to equip LSPR students to be ready in the real world of Media & Broadcast Industry. Every LSPR student has the opportunity to learn how to use the latest communication technologies in media and broadcast. LSPR Media Centre is equipped with state of the art facilities enabling our students’ hands on practical learning and training on TV, Film & Video Production, as well as Radio, Print Media Production and Online.

Indonesia Drama Educators Association
Indonesia Drama Education Association (IDEAL) is an Indonesian drama educators association that supports and promotes the development of educational drama and also has the function of therapy and performances. IDEAL is committed to carry out a program of action for the development of the skills of effective Indonesian drama educators. Along with the inauguration of IDEAL on February 2011, IDEAL also publish DRAMAKALA, which acts as a medium of communication for drama and theatre. This bulletin is published every 2 months and distributed to members and associates of IDEAL at no charge. Starting in 2012, every February, IDEAL organize “IDEAL-DRAMAKALA Festival�, which is a short drama and monologue competition between theatres at national level.
