NATALIE JACOBSON HOST

Natalie Jacobson, known affectionately to New Englanders as “Nat,” rose to prominence as a reporter and anchor for WCVB-TV Boston from 1972 to 2007, and hosted the first ever Boston Pops on Nantucket in the summer of 1997.

During her 40-year career as a broadcaster, Jacobson anchored every major broadcast until her retirement in 2007. Since then she has broadened her focus from the screen, to include print, authoring a new memoir, Every Life A Story: Natalie Jacobson Reporting, which was published earlier this spring. Tonight's event will mark Jacobson's eighth time hosting the Boston Pops on Nantucket.
