Online Live Learn to Love English and Maths

You can expect to learn about safe food storage, use by dates and safe practices when cooking and handling food.

Health and Safety in the Workplace

You can expect to learn about safe working practices, protective clothing requirements, how to keep yourself and others safe in the workplace.

The Science of Stuff

Learn fun facts about science including the solar system, the weather, how our body works, transport and machines.

Gruesome Tales in History

Learn fun and sometimes gruesome facts about our history our kings and queens, historical buildings and other major historical events throughout the decades.

Maths

Develop skills in reading, writing and communication. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.

Develop your skills in numeracy for everyday life and work. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.

Maths And English For Work

During this course you will learn basic maths and English for work. This may include CV writing, time keeping, managing money, reading instructions and effective communication.

Art and Craft

Develop your art and craft skills whilst improving your community inclusion and social skills. Improve your awareness of colour and shape and experience working with a wide variety of materials.

Cooking for Independence

Increase your independence in the kitchen with this advanced cookery course. Learn how to prepare and cook basic snacks and meals and learn basic health and safety rules for the kitchen.

Digital Skills for Life

Develop your digital skills and apply them in an everyday life based context.

Creative Textiles Dance

Develop your skills in using fabrics to make art and items. Make good colour choices, while improving your communication and social skills.

Digital Skills for Work Drama

Develop your digital skills and apply them in a work based context. This course forms part of the employability programme of study.

Develop your personal skills, selfconfidence and ability to work in a team through drama, mime, music and movement.

Increase your dance and movement skills with this arts based course. Improve your health and fitness through dance, music and movement.

Employability Café

Develop your skills in hospitality and catering and learn how to run a successful café. A course for those wishing to gain skills for work.

Employability Horticulture

We support you to gain employment in garden and horticulture. You will learn about health and safety in the garden, how to sow seeds, propagate plants and general garden maintenance.

Living in a digital age

Improve your digital skills for life or work and learn the strategies of how to keep safe online.

Employability Retail

A course for those wishing to gain skills for employment. You will learn about customer care, managing money and how to make and sell goods to the public.

Looking after Myself

Develop your skills for independent living and wellbeing. This will include planning activities, making choices, speaking up for yourself, money and budgeting, keeping healthy and feeling good about yourself.

Gentle Exercise Health and Beauty

Improve your physical and mental health through gentle exercise, movement and games. This course is suitable for people who wish to remain flexible and active.

Music and Movement

Improve your physical and mental health by listening to different types of music, taking part in singing, movement and percussion.

Learn about skin care, make up, clothes, how to be healthy and how to manage doctors and dentist appointments.

Online Interview Skills Intensive

Learn how to interact effectively during an online interview, explore different platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Skype to prepare you for the possibility of an online interview.

Photography Using An iPad

Learn to work with others and create interesting digital images using an iPad. Suitable for beginners.

Singing

Improve your confidence and self expression through singing. Develop skills in singing, mime, music and movement.

Pottery

Develop your skills of working with clay and learn to use basic pottery and decorating techniques. You will work on individual and group projects and may produce goods to sell.

ReGain (post Stroke or ABI)

Develop your independence by taking part in a range of activities. Regain skills in reading, writing and number. Learn new digital skills. This course is for people that have suffered a stroke or brain injury.

Sport & Fitness

Improve your physical and mental health by taking part in a range of sports and exercises to improve fitness.

Sensory

Improve community inclusion and social skills. Develop your awareness of people, places and objects. Learners must attend with support.

Supported Employment Programme

We support you to take the next step into the world of work. It is a one year programme with support to gain employment at the end. Enrolment on this programme is by referral only. Learners are to attend all three days.

Vocational Skills

Develop your employability skills and try out different vocations. Apply your new skills into specific work contexts.
