LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
The PTO is thrilled to invite you to our 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration. The Lunar New Year marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar. This year, we embrace the spirit of prosperity, family, and hope for the year ahead.
• Traditional musical and kung fu performances to honor this special occasion
• Delicious Chinese food representing the flavors of the New Year
• A special play, the Greek tragedy “Electra”, performed by the Youth Drama Club of the Sino-Hellenic PerformingArtsAlliance
YOU HAVE A VOICE - PTO REPS
The PTO is excited to announce that new meetings with PTO representatives from the Elementary School, Middle School, Academy, and IB programs will now be held every first Tuesday of the month from 9:00am - 10:00am in the PTO office.
These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for parents to meet directly with representatives and voice any concerns or feedback they may have. We look forward to meeting with you and continuing to foster strong collaboration between parents and our school community.

What We Did
Holiday Bazaar
The Holiday Bazaar, organized by the PTO, brought plenty of holiday magic to the ACS Athens campus this December. Amongst the wonderful holiday decor, students, parents, alums, faculty and staff enjoyed shopping for unique gifts, festive activities, delicious international food and treats, and an exciting raffle supporting our community.
Special highlights included pictures with Santa, toy donations supporting the Marine Toys for Tots program, and an all-new kids pastry workshop. Our collective enthusiasm brought out the holiday spirit and strengthened the bonds that unite our school community.
PTO Coffee and Vasilopita Cutting
What a fantastic gathering at our PTO coffee and vasilopita event! We loved connecting with everyone while sharing updates on past events and giving a sneak peek into the exciting plans we have for 2025, including excursions and wellness workshops. Thank you for being part of it, and wishing you all a Happy New Year!
Food Drive
The ACS Athens Office of Development, PTO, and IB Student Council came together this holiday season to support the Municipality of Halandri. The ACS Athens extended community generously donated warm clothing, food, and toys, which were delivered to the Community Grocery Store and Soup Kitchen in Halandri.

Acropolis Museum Excursion
In November, the PTO Board organized an excursion to the Acropolis Museum, where parents had the chance to enjoy an engaging tour led by our Englishspeaking guide. They explored the rich history behind the museum’s antiquities and had a wonderful time together. It was a delightful group, and we look forward to seeing you at our next outing.
