Dear Middle School Parents, Our end of year exams for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will begin on Thursday, 1 June and end on Monday, 12 June. Exams are designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their learning in each of the major academic areas. Per school policy, as stated in the Student Parent Handbook pg. 21, only a doctor’s note will excuse students for missing an exam. For your future planning, we present the Final Exam Schedule. The schedule has been designed to provide students with the time they need to prepare thoroughly and to complete their exams thoughtfully, so that they can do their best work. • •

6th Grade: Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Languages and Greek (if applicable) 7th Grade: Math, Science, Languages and Greek (if applicable). Please note: no separate Social Studies and Language Arts exams for this grade as students will be responsible for a comprehensive Renaissance project that is co-curricular. 8th Grade: Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Languages and Greek (if applicable)
During the exam period, students are expected in school at 9:00am. Students are required to return all assigned textbooks to the Bookstore before or on the day of the exam. Student accounts will not be cleared until all books are returned or paid for. Please note the following exam schedule.
