Introduction - Methods Academy students were asked to demonstrate and display, in a creative way, the knowledge they gained in class so to help other teens or students connect it to lifetime knowledge and wellness. They were asked to compile and create an original tri-fold brochure/ pamphlet about a specific health question they decided upon, and design it in a suitable fashion for use in a health classroom or in the counseling offices. The information had to be specific and detailed, accurate, essential, grammatically correct, resourceful, and cited.
Students compiled a variety of very informing and detailed brochures

Conclusions After this action research project, I concluded that health education lessons are a natural fit for creative writing ideas. When I design creative writing lesson plans, health education topics offer instant student appeal while offering me the opportunity to reflect on how much students have absorbed and learned. From examining health issues to studying the wonders of our everyday well being, health education lessons hold tremendous possibilities for engaging students in creative writing ideas and projects, and enable the educator to assess the students’ acquired knowledge from the overall class lessons. And what better way to execute this than by allowing students creativity, imagination, and self-expression in communicating relevant information regarding health issues to the wider community?!
