The Greeks of old had a different idea that they called paideia. This was education conceived as creating a cultured person who would be a mature citizen and leader.

Imagine if our focus in education was on the person rather than the things studied. We'd be concerned that a student grow up and learn how to deal with life and help others deal with it as well.

This education has two purposes: self-ripening and leadership.

ď‚ž

The Morfosis Educational Philosophy is defined within the 21st Century framework, as a holistic, meaningful, and harmonious educational experience, guided by Ethos.

The i2Flex is defined as the teaching and learning approach containing a face-to-face and non-face-to-face teaching and learning. ď‚ž The non-face-to-face student learning includes the independent student learning, and the inspirational guided by the faculty students learning utilizing the Guided Inquiry Approach ď‚ž The face-to-face component includes student and faculty engagement in the classroom or outside in an interactive form. ď‚ž

ď‚ž

This highly interactive learning experience is focused on the intellectual skills of analysis, evaluation and creation in the Revised Version of Bloom’s Taxonomy of learning.

The Aristeia leadership is the continuous act of effectively engaging all members of an organization, or community, as well as utilizing their differences, their authentic energies, creative ideas, and diverse qualities primarily for the benefit of their constituencies. It is comprised by three interrelated, inseparable, and interconnected components:  The establishment of an Authentic Leadership Identity

(ALI)  The creation of a Collective Leadership-Partnership Approach (CPA)  Serving Humanity

Educators are sculptors of students’ character and personality

There are many items we assume can't be taught that will simply fade away if we don't teach them: • manners • civility • good language • mature love • good art • selfawareness and reflection • intelligent reading • responsible travel • care of one's home and belongings • a sense of the beautiful • intelligent spirituality and empathy for our fellow citizens on the planet.  This is a small part of a much longer list. 

Who should teach these things--parents or teachers? ď‚ž Obviously, both. And not only parents and teachers, but brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, neighbors and friends, managers and CEOs, mayors and senators, movie stars and janitors. ď‚ž As members of society, each of us has a role to play in teaching the values and wisdom we've somehow acquired. ď‚ž
