THE DREADED TALK: TALKING TO KIDS ABOUT SEX

Date: Thursday, February 19, 2015 Speaker: Niovi Michalopoulou Whether we feel comfortable or not with our sexuality, talking to our kids about sex makes us nervous. We will broach this "dreaded topic" in a fun, educative and revealing way, so that we are better prepared and more comfortable when the time comes. And for those of us who messed up the first time, this will be a good way to get back in! Niovi is a clinical psychologist, with a Masters and Psy.D. from Widener University in the States. She works as a psychotherapist with adults and couples. She specializes in adult ADHD, is the general secretary for ADHD Hellas, and is a mom of 2 children (one's 10 the other 5 years old).

Partnership for Student Success is parents and professionals coming together to share and learn strategies to empower students through a series of monthly presentations and discussion groups hosted in cooperation with the ACS Athens PTO. Usually held in the ACS Athens Conference Center (Administration Building), but this month to be held in the Theater Lobby due to student exams. R.S.V.P. for each session to Ms. Marietta Garbis, 210-6393-200, ext. 302 For more information contact Ms. Chris Perakis, Director, IIC Learning Enhancement Programs, 210-6393-200, ext. 335
