• Youth Orchestra • Chamber Music The Summer Music academy provides young musicians the rare opportunity to play in a symphony orchestra and a chamber ensemble in a professional-level environment. Over a period of three weeks, students work with internationally acclaimed artists to prepare and perform musical a set of works drawn from a repertory from the Baroque period to the 21st century. The program culminates in a live concert. Students who successfully complete the program can receive one college credit. Credit is awarded by Hellenic American University, which is solely responsible for the design and academic oversight of the Summer Music Academy.
The Summer Music Academy is organized with the support of the Nina Patrikidou Youth Symphony Orchestra under the aegis of the Archbishopric of Athens, the Mozarteum Hellas, and the Ecali Club and in cooperation with American Community Schools.
