RPS MEMBERS’ PRINT EXHIBITION 2016 TUES 2nd FEB - FRI 26th FEB

4 MARCH - 31 MARCH Jean Paul Baptiste presents

ART SAVED MY LIFE The exhibition will include an assimilation of works that are not connected though a common vein and bare little or no resemblance to one another, rather, they portray a schizophrenic representation of the current times of purely superficial and aesthetic fleeting attention spans, reflecting the multiplicity of personality and the ongoing search for a nonexistent singular meaning.

7 APRIL - 30 APRIL Stéphanie Vandem presents

ACKNOWLEDGE ME! PART 1 Stéphanie Vandem’s second solo show in Aberdeen investigates issues of privacy and personal space. It particularly focuses on the tensions between ‘public and private’ and on aspects of an individual’s negotiation of his/her basic humanity within highly visible environments. Inspired by the large compositions of the Renaissance period, Stéphanie continues on her artistic path of semi-abstraction in search of her own striking, large and powerful compositions.
