English speaking classes expanded

We are excited to share we will be increasing our new ESOL delivery after securing some important funding from the Welsh Government’s Renew and Reform fund. The ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) classes taking place at OPH will now run on both Mondays and Tuesdays, with the funding allowing additional occupancy for 10 additional learners.

The support from the Renew and Reform fund allows for an ESOL teacher from a charity to come in and host the sessions. ESOL teacher, Tung Son Bui, from Oasis Cardiff, a charity providing support to refugees and asylum seekers, has already begun working with learners at OPH. As well as opportunities to complete further learning at ACT’s other centres, ESOL learners will also have access to our Essential Skills Qualifications too.
