Hello, everyone! Welcome back. What’s your dream? Close your eyes and imagine that you’ve been catapulted into your favorite dream. Can you feel the warmth or cold of the surrounding environment? Can you see the colors of your imagination? Can you take a step forward and enter your new reality? Welcome to your dreams! Do you like the feeling of having a world created just for you? A world where you are the protagonist and where being yourself is not improbable but feasible. Where each thought becomes an action. Where each action becomes a wonderful hemisphere. But what is your dream? And, above all, what do you do to make your dream come true? Be careful, though! A dream may just remain a dream. Some time ago, while talking with my associates, I asked them what a dream was. They gave me valid, heartfelt and moving definitions. But I told them to be very careful because we only know it is a dream when we awake. When we open our eyes and it disappears, that is when we realize it was a dream. And with it, the expectation that it can come true vanishes as well. The only solution is to make that dream come true by EXPERIENCING it every day in real life, with all the power, intensity, and passion of the unique energy that fuels it. Never stop dreaming and never stop believing in yourself, but do it with respect and honesty towards others, because some day, that person may be you. pring beauty looks characterizing 2017 are rich in technological innovations and advanced products that will revolutionize the art of makeup. An absolute protagonist this season is the strobing technique that in just a few seconds makes the complexion look more radiant and glowing, especially using products from the Strobe line of Mac Cosmetics composed of a strobe cream to be applied as a makeup base and Extra Dimension Skin Finish, a luminous powder to be generously applied to the cheekbones for a finishing touch. Practicality is the buzzword for new product launches by Sisley that include Phyto Blush Twist

sticks for a healthy glow. Handy to keep in your purse for touch-ups, these products are essential for sculpting and highlighting the face thanks to their micronized pigments and gel formula with excellent color delivery. For those who want a sun-kissed look, Sisley
offers Phyto Touche Poudre éclat soleil, a bronzer composed of three different colored powders to give the skin a tanned, even appearance with a light formula that blends perfectly on the skin. The Trio Peche Doree has rosier shades that are ideal for medium and light skin tones, while the Trio Miel Cannelle was specially designed to highlight darker complexions. parfum AZZARO AZZARO WANTED Azzaro Wanted is the essence of a man who burns the candle at both ends. It is one thing to say it, but how can the audaciousness, hedonism, and freedom of a man whose mantra is “happiness is now!” be translated into a scent? Through a woody, refreshingly spicy fragrance. This perfume has everything to please young men and become a timeless success: vibrant head notes (lemon, ginger), a heart that is not easily tamed (cardamom, pyrogenated juniper) and an ultra-sensuous, solid base (tonka bean, vetiver). EDT 100 ml € 80,00
CLINIQUE AROMATICS IN BLACK Clinique Aromatics in Black opens with the intriguing, bold energy of an accord of plum leaves, delightful pink grapefruit and lively Italian bergamot that immediately captures your attention. The heart of the fragrance features notes of osmanthus and neroli that blend to create an elegant floral bouquet. Jasmine sambac enhances heart notes through a duality expressing the myriad aspects of femininity. The base notes give the fragrance warmth and sensuality thanks to myrrh, a symbol of bold yet sweet passion. Finally, the enticing notes of vetiver heart LMR and tonka bean exude mysterious warmth that evokes elegance. EDP 50 ml € 73,00
BYBLOS BUTTERFLY The blend of notes that make up the new Byblos Butterfly perfume leaves a trail as delicate as a butterfly and as energetic as rock music. This irresistible contrast pervades through the entire olfactory pyramid in a thrilling path leading us from the floral and fruity top to a base of musk and woods in a crescendo of intensity and strength. It opens with the explosive notes of white peach and redcurrants that cleverly lead to the floral heart composed of a sensual bouquet of freesia, magnolia, crocus, neroli and jasmine. This passionate yet delicate impact becomes persistent and softer in the base thanks to hints of musk, white wood, patchouli and cashmere wood. When applied to the skin, this fragrance becomes a sort of olfactory tattoo. EDP 100 ml € 61,60
CZECH&SPEAKE CUBA Inspired by his trips to Cuba, Frank Sawkins, founder of the Czech & Speake brand, created a fragrance that evokes all of the island’s exotic charm. This heady mix of spicy essential oils brings to mind the scents and Latin rhythm of the historical center of Havana, cigars and fine rum. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, lime, peppermint and a hint of rum. It continues with a blend of spicy and floral notes – rose, cloves, bay leaves and tonka beans – that add a subtle sweetness. The base notes of tobacco mixed with the richness of incense, cedar wood and vetiver complete this amazing fragrance. EDP 100 ml € 128,00
MOLINARD VIOLETTE Violette, from the Les Éléments collection, is a simple, refined fragrance that incarnates the fresh, luminous flower, inviting us on a sweet journey towards audacity. This exceptionally tempting eau de parfum creates a delicious feeling as if time were suspended. Its olfactory spell turns into escapist dreams. EDP 75 ml € 60,00
RE PROFUMO AQVA PASSIONALE Aqva Passionate is an olfactory idyll celebrating the many love stories that have taken place in Venice in a suspended dimension of time from the days of Casanova to the present. The fascinating, seductive notes of pink pepper and cinnamon fade into a warm heart of cashmere, cedar and ambergris that is accentuated with intensity by amber, vetiver and sweet vanilla. EDP 100 ml € 180,00
SOOUD JADE In SoOud, the sensuality of intriguing, passionate oriental fragrances typical of the Arab world encounters a soul refined through western production techniques. Jade is an Eau Fine, a light scent that is more impalpable and delicate on the skin. SoOud has dedicated its latest exclusive creation to Jade, with magnificent rare essences of amber that are linked to the power of love in the heart chakra. This substantial, positive fragrance that attracts good luck and success is ideal for people who love to love and gamble. Eau Fine 100 ml € 180,00

Pantone announced 15-0343 Greenery as the PANTONE® Color of the Year selection for 2017. A fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals individuals to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate. After last year’s Serenity and Rose Quartz, this shade of green celebrates the power of the nature.

15 The Pantone system was developed in the 1950s as a means of classifying colors and ‘translating’ them into the CMYK printing process (cyan, magenta, yellow, key black) with a simple code. The colors and their relative codes are put in a catalogue, or swatch book, where the user can leaf through and select them. Unlike CMYK or RGB, the Pantone system is an arbitrary code composed of two fields, the first of which can be a word (e.g. RED) or a two-digit number that refers to the color family (e.g. 18 for the family of reds)

WHERE DO MILLENNIALS MEET? A brief excursion among the hangouts of the smartest generation
T
hey are the most fluid generation, a generation that has made instability their greatest asset, living and reinventing themselves through their own contradictions: meet the Millennials. Between 18 and 34 years old, these kids get around despite being the most sedentary generation of all time; they consume at the velocity of a click while lamenting what they cannot have. In an era of employment crisis, they are able to create previously unimaginable job opportunities. Theirs is a generation capable of reinventing itself continuously while encompassing the most disparate identities within its ranks, and precisely for this multiidentitary nature they call themselves Generation Y, far from the Generation X which, during the post-WWII years, cultivated a pessimism about the future which led to a significant lack of confidence in traditional values and institutions. The question ‘who are the Millennials?’ has been addressed by journalists, sociologists, anthropologists and television hosts. But few have asked ‘where do they meet?’. Their way of interacting operates on the optimization of time, the concentration of interests, the search for new stimuli and the immediacy of work. The approach is based on imprinting. In a world

where people constantly come and go, creating a circle of acquaintances and a busy social life is fast, easy and difficult all at once. Frequenting the most varied social groups, getting to know people of every gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and nationality is an inexhaustible source of input and opportunity for growth, and it is precisely because of this human kaleidoscope that it becomes easy to find yourself surrounded by ‘best friends’ immediately upon meeting them. In this fragile yet intricate network of relationships, the concept of ‘invitation’ acquires special connotations. Finding yourself alone on the weekend becomes quite unlikely, because at the last minute a text message or a Facebook post will apprise you of an event you knew nothing about a minute earlier. anufacturing and buying less and mending more are the rules of the latest fashion trend based on the concept of transforming and customizing second-hand clothes into new outfits. This also concerns renewing accessories and objects using both traditional artisan techniques and unconventional methods. The goal of these recycling projects is to create and produce garments and other items for private customers and/or fashion companies, drawing from one’s personal wardrobe or purchased through antiques collectors and flea markets. This interesting project, which was presented at the last edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence back in January 2017, caught the interest of the media and buyers at the time.
In the world of fashion, alas, more is produced than consumed, which is damaging both for creativity and the environment. The ‘inventive’ reuse of existing stock is an interesting solution to the excess of clothes without soul. stock is one of the interesting solutions against an excess of clothes without a soul. Behind this globalized spirit uniting cities like Los Angeles, Tokyo, and New York and Italy are designers and consultants who have worked for leading brands and are in constant search for fabrics applied to contemporary silhouettes, restyling and reinterpreting vintage garments, repairing and transforming them into unique one-of-a-kind pieces. This transformation process originates from a dialog established with each piece and requires creativity, innovation, and technique. The final result is “vibrant” clothes with surfaces with mends, patches and alterations that reveal their beauty, which is the exact opposite of industrial mass production. At the moment, this concept addresses a definitely urban niche market, but the basic principle and concept could soon be extended to other contexts, reserving great surprises for the future. M.F.

Eyeliner, that indispensable accessory for the divas of the 1950s, has come back as a status symbol for the stars of our time, from Adele to Ariana Grande to the never forgotten Amy Winehouse. Fringe, studded leather and bellbottoms, not to mention sequins and conspicuous shoulder pads, continue to trade places cyclically on the catwalks, vying for the title of ‘trend of the year’ on the front pages of the fashion media. Velvet, which dominated the scene in the ‘70s and ‘80s, returns to establish itself as the most glamorous and sensual fabric in 2016/2017 collections, equally convincing as sumptuous pajamas or as an elegant evening gown. verything is immortal, and that which has left its mark in the past will end up, in one way or another, returning. Nietzsche’s theory of eternal return is reflected in every aspect of society. Not only the worlds of fashion and beauty, but music as well. After her unexpected alliance with Tony Bennett on the classic The Lady Is a Tramp, Gaga has set aside her sequins, masks and bizarre outfits in favor of a wide-brimmed pink hat, reviving with her new album Joanne the sounds of the past, such as the jazz and folk rock that enriched the American musical tradition between the ‘30s and ‘60s. And then there’s Bruno Mars, who has always reinterpreted funk and R&B with a charisma and a voice tinged with an irresistible vintage aura, and continues on this musical mission with his latest album, 24k Magic. And with the return of the Spice Girls - albeit with a few missing pieces - the countdown has already begun.

or the last couple of years the mainstream movie industry has been completely overrun by the revival phenomenon. Venerable monuments of film history have been reinterpreted in a contemporary key, exploiting the nostalgia, affection and curiosity of the public, resulting in box office successes that have surpassed even the brightest forecasts. As a result, true cinephiles are no longer able to sleep soundly. Whether cult classics or multiple Oscar winners, their favorite films are now threatened by two dreaded words: reboot and remake. The revival of an old chestnut is hardly ever a bad bet in terms of box office, and in a period when a flop can severely damage Hollywood’s home industry, which like many others was impacted by the global economic crisis, it may represent a particularly advantageous investment strategy. The most extreme point is just 140 km from Havana, and is the southernmost point of the continental US. Heading south from Miami, crossing the plain of the Everglades, it’s only 20 minutes by car before entering the enchanted world of the Keys, once the paradise of pirates and today favored destination of underwater treasure hunters. Visitors are most struck by the presence of one of mankind’s greatest construction feats, the Overseas Highway. TRAVEL accessible to tourists, both domestic and international, throughout the year. Ecotourism, diving, snorkeling and fishing are just some of the attractions that bring visitors to the Keys. Beloved for their coral reefs, exotic marine fauna and intriguing shipwrecks, each year they attract more than 800,000 divers. A viable alternative to diving is sea kayaking, which has become a popular and fun way to discover inland waterways or to reach the habitats of rare species of birds on remote islands not easily accessible by larger vessels. As for fishing, there are international deep-sea fishing competitions all year round. In fact, the area boasts the highest number of world records in this discipline with sailfish, marlin, dorado, mackerel, bream, barracuda and tarpon.
Key Largo, underwater paradise The first and also the longest of the Keys is less than an hour south of Miami by car, and here the most beautiful views are below sea level and not above. Running parallel to the island for about 40 km is the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, an absolute ‘must-see’ whether you’re an experienced diver or first-time snorkeler – or, like most visitors, more inclined to enjoy the view through a glass-bottom boat. As an alternative to all this blue, you can always cycle the network of nature trails. For overnight we recommend the Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection, a 4-star luxury facility with spa. Located on 14 hectares with private beach and stunning views of the bay, its style evokes the old ‘Ameri-Caribbean’ Florida. 154 rooms, suites and bungalows and a villa on the beach. ccording to Professor Steven Dayan, the author of the book “Subliminally Exposed”, 70% of our self-esteem is based on the perception of our appearance, and self-esteem and self-worth are two basic needs of humanity. Even when a woman is sick, it is important that she never stops feeling attractive, and to deny this need is to deny human nature. When the therapies used to eradicate a tumor alter a woman’s appearance, especially her face, self-perception drastically worsens. Being seen by the family, at the workplace, and in public in general becomes a serious problem because shame comes into play. She sees a completely different person in the mirror, and that image is no longer appealing to her. The face is the body’s most important means of communication: it is what people look at first. Therefore, when there is a problem, the feeling of discomfort and inadequacy becomes unbearable. NEWS important. Pampering oneself, however, is therapeutic and has a beneficial effect on the way a woman copes with cancer. The loss of eyelashes, eyebrows and hair (keep in mind that many iconic stars are forced to wear a wig because they suffer from alopecia), very dry skin that sometimes acquires spots, a dull complexion, swelling or excessive thinness are just some of the aesthetic changes that a woman endures. Since cancer therapies, though intermittent, can last for more than a year, the period in which the face changes is long. In this sense image consulting techniques may be helpful because they help disguise these changes and involve using make-up, color in clothing and accessories, and scarves/turbans. Everything around the face affects perception and can help drastically
improve a woman’s appearance. Color is a true ally when the complexion is dull or has a sickly hue. Using neutral and light colors (gray, beige, ivory, or pastel colors) might make the complexion look even wanner. In these cases it is better to choose “jewel tones”: sapphire blue, emerald

Rinofiller
Non-surgical nose correction by Mauro Tarallo

R
inofiller is a new nonsurgical method to modify the shape of the nose through subcutaneous injections of reabsorbable substances such as fillers and hyaluronic acid, which are practically innocuous and obtain an excellent result. This treatment joins other soft or non-invasive procedures because it is often used to change the shape of the nose without requiring classic rhinoplasty and post-operative inconveniences. The technique fills irregular areas, slightly lifts the tip of the nose and raises the root of the nose itself. In most cases, the typical bump can be eliminated by injecting filler above it. It is also recommended for correcting any imperfections after surgical rhinoplasty such as a nose collapsed at its root, an underdeveloped hump, uniformity of the nasal pyramid, filling of nasal depressions, correction of any humps or bumps due to trauma. Bear in mind that Rinofiller does not replace rhinoplasty surgery because it temporarily corrects an aesthetic problem, not a functional one such as a deviated septum. The main advantage obtained through non-surgical rhinoplasty is
HEALTH & FITNESS
“This intervetion can be inserted among the soft and non-invasive types of aesthetic treatment, insofar as it is often used to remodel the nose aesthetically without necessarily resorting to classic rhinoplasty and all the post-op follow-up it requires harmonization of irregular curves on the nose, and it is not the right technique for all defects or flaws, such as when the nose is large. Rinofiller is an office procedure because anesthesia is not required and it is practically painless. The procedure takes 30 minutes and you can immediately return to your normal activities afterwards. Results are immediately visible after the procedure. The tiny injections of filler are normally done in three places. In the case of a drooping tip, a few drops of filler can lift it. To hide the classic bump, filler injected above and below it makes it less noticeable. In the third instance, filler is inserted at the base of the nose, between the nostrils, relaxing the muscle so the tip is lifted. The effect of Rinofiller lasts between 12 and 18 months: therefore, one procedure per year is recommended for a lasting result. A preliminary consultation with a professional
plastic surgeon registered with the national association of plastic surgeons is always advised to be able to determine the best solution for each case.

Cream of carrots and red pumpkin by Cassandra Del Fosco

his recipe makes a light, tasty dish, perfect for those on a low-calorie diet. Easy and quick to make, just a few simple ingredients produce a dish that can even be prepared for last-minute guests. Carrots and red pumpkin are very good for us as they are sources of minerals,

fibre and amino acids. They contain a lot of beta-carotene (a vegetable element deriving from vitamin A), which has many beneficial properties; above all, antioxidants to fight free radicals, and elements essential for cell and bone growth, for our sight and for reproduction disorders. They also help fight cardiovascular diseases.
Not forgetting that beta-carotene stimulates the production of melanin, which helps us to tan. Pumpkins and carrots can be used to make wonderful anti-ageing masks (apply freshly-made) which provide nutrients for the skin. Don’t worry if your face looks very yellow immediately afterwards – it means your skin has “drunk” the cocktail. Rinse your face with lukewarm then cold water and apply your usual cream.
Ingredients serves 2, 150 gr carrots, peeled, 150 gr pumpkin, peeled and trimmed, 1 medium potato, extra-virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, spices according to taste, cumin and ginger are recommended
Method Clean and peel the vegetables then dice them and transfer to a saucepan. Add water or vegetable stock to cover. Cook the vegetables until they are soft, approximately 20-25 min. Transfer the vegetables into a large, tall container suitable

intellectual with exceptional painterly technique. The human and professional arc of Artemisia Gentileschi (Rome, July 8, 1593 - Naples, June 14, 1653), extraordinary artist and woman of character, inspires audiences not just with her art but by being a forerunner of the recognition of female talent, endowed with an exceptional character and will. A talent that allowed her, still very young, to go from Rome to Florence and become the first woman to enrol at the Accademia delle Arti e del Disegno, that enabled her to learn, as an adult, to read and write, to play the lute, to frequent cultural circles; a strength of will that helped her to overcome family violence (an issue women still have to face today) and economic difficulties; a sense of freedom that allowed Copyright Museum e Real Bosco of Capodimonte - courtesy Ministero dei Beni and of the AttivitĂ Culturali and of Turismo Giuditta decapita Oloferne, 1617 Oil on board, 159x126 cm

HOROSCOPE ‘17 ARIES 21.03/20.04 The favorable alignment of the stars will bring new amorous encounters starting from the first week of the month, thanks to the Moon in the sign. In February your hyperactivity will drive you to plan major changes: you will devote yourself intensely both to work and your private life, so much that you’ll then need a break to recharge your batteries. Beauty tip: start the new year with an unusual color, like granny silver with bangs.
GEMINI 22.05/21.06 You will experience a period of harmony with your family after the turbulence of recent months. Even if your significant other is not a dreamer like you, you will figure out how to compromise in order to get the feeling back in your relationship. Your creativity could be stimulated by new work experiences, but be careful not to let your boss notice! Financially, you’re in for a tough month. Beauty tip: don’t overdo it with the cocktails, your liver might ask you to pay the bill.
LEO 24.07/23.08 Mars and Venus in opposition could cause tension with your partner which will lead to complaints about not showing enough affection. Good news if you’re single on both the new love and new friendship fronts. There’s an interesting journey in store for you at the end of the year that will allow you to shake off accumulated stress. At work, if you’re thinking about making changes, now is the right time! Beauty tip: for evenings out, use a red lip gloss to illuminate your face.
TAURUS 21.04/21.05 February is an important month for your economic stability, which is critical for people like you who base your life on concrete values. Starting this new year, you should devote more time and attention to those closest to you rather than allowing your excessive diligence and sense of responsibility to make you obsess about work. The stress of this period will weigh on you. Beauty tip: use a moisturizing cream on your face after night after washing.
CANCER 22.06/23.07 Feel free to welcome the new year in a calm and positive way. You will reap the rewards of a challenging period. In love, the stars are on your side but you mustn’t listen to gossip, which could make you argue with her/him. At work, try to remain calm even if your’e always stuck in endless meetings. Your health demands proper exercise, as is your habit. Beauty tip: choose a citrus-based fragrance and pay attention to your hands!
VIRGO 24.08/23.09 For those of you in a stable and happy relationship, these past few months of smooth sailing might be a good reason to start thinking about moving in together or buying a house. For singles, interesting encounters are in store, but you need to go out more often. Work will bring you significant earnings, and for job hunters this is the right time to be interviewing. You will feel in great shape, with a rejuvenated appearance. Beauty tip: purify yourself with a body scrub.
LIBRA 24.09/23.10 Thanks to the influence of Jupiter, you will fulfill your dream of love after months of nurturing its little sprout. The winter will be full of emotions that could lead to having a family, and for those who are looking for a soulmate, try visiting an old friend... Workwise, the challenges will keep coming but they’ll provide satisfaction. Your finances will grow, thanks in part to gambling winnings. Beauty tip: bet on your backside with clothes that bring it out best.
SAGITTARIUS 23.11/21.12 The influence of Jupiter will help you overcome the misunderstandings which have hindered your relationship in recent months. But you need to make an important decision to change things, and that depends only on you. Your career will also enjoy great benefits from the sextile of Jupiter, which could lead you to move to a new city for work. Money is short, so be careful with your spending. Beauty tip: alleviate the fatigue you’ve been feeling with guarana supplements.
AQUARIUS 21.01/18.02 Thanks to the trine of Jupiter that impacts your sign, there will be no shortage of great opportunities to find a soulmate for those who’ve given up by now... more generally, you’re also well positioned to meet new people, socially and professionally. Likewise, your work sphere is favorable, though your characteristic sense of freedom and desire to do things might make your boss’s demands feel a bit restrictive. Beauty tip: oxygenating walks in the mountains.
SCORPIO 24.10/22.11 The stars aren’t on your side in early 2017. In the love department, you might be desiring big changes in a sometimes monotonous relationship; young people looking for new love can find it in their circle of friendships. At work everything is going well, but if you feel the need to change, this is the right time, thanks in part to the money you’ve saved up in recent months. Beauty tip: chase away months of fatigue with a massage package deal.
CAPRICORN 22.12/20.01 Love stories that start in 2017, thanks to the influence of Jupiter, will be favored with happy endings and those in search of new adventures will not be disappointed. Work will proceed at full sail, and while that raise might be slow in coming, be thankful for your frugality, which is why you’ve still got savings to rely on. Health-wise, your body asks you not to get too stressed out. Beauty tip: long baths with jasmine essence.
PISCES 19.02/20.03 For your sign, Jupiter’s position brings friction to the sentimental sphere. You need to cut away the deadwood and start a new phase of taking care of yourself and doing the things that gratify you. Your work situation needs a change, given that you don’t always make it to the end of the month, so the idea of starting a family might have to be put on hold, but the important things for now are serenity and health. Beauty tip: avoid tobacco and alcohol, get more exercise and eat healthy foods.
