BRIEF TITLE
Garry Barker Publication
The Brief Produce initial design proposals for publication that can operate as a informative catalogue resume, and as a promotional tool used for grand openings and exhibitions.
Concept/Proposition Emphasis on mix of eco friendly and other paper stock/ paper crafting and layout. Making use of paper and its limitations. Experiment with paper and ink.
Background Garry Barker is an active fine artist, writer and philosopher, who attends and organises events and exhibitions within these sectors. Garry is looking to produce a publication that offers an insight on the work he does, which also can be used to promote his future art exhibitions and workshop openings.

The publication could make use of a variety of interchangeable elements.
The publication has to be multifunctional and make use of a variety of interchangeable content.
How can you make the content interchangeable and swap and change content easily?
Mock up layouts with lorem ipsum – each essay/article (5) would be 1000 words.

Deliverables
Focussed, specialist audience consists of industry individuals ‘people in the business’ and other artists.
Initial proposal boards (3 x A2) outlining the concept and design direction for the proposed publication. This should include sample layouts for a range of content, and proposed branding. Proposed production decisions, stock decisions and print processes (where possible).
