BRIEF TITLE Zac Helmore Photography The Brief Design and present an image for photographer Zac Helmore. Concept/Proposition The aesthetic should have close affiliations with the bands music and existing promo and other material. Considerations How can you promote him his services effectively taking into account he works with both traditional and modern equipment? How will you use colour to enhance the finish of the deliverables? Can cleverly selected type and image play a role in defining his practice? Target Audience Clients such as magazine publishers, newspapers, business owners should be targeted as well as possible create collaborators. Tone of Voice The tone of voice should be to the point and clearly presented.
Background Zac Helmore is a local photographer trying to find his way into the professional market. As well as impressing future employers, Zac also wishes to promote himself to clients, which cover a broad demographic. He is an experimental architectural photographer who uses new technology as well as old style equipment. His work features architecture from the 1920’s and 30’s.
Mandatory Requirements This is an open brief, and so it is up to you to decide the deliverables but you must create a range suitable to Zac’s practice. You should use a maximum of 2 colours, as the budget is tight.
Deliverables All Finals and propositions should be presented on A2 mount boards.
Studio Deadline This is a two day brief.
