ADAVB Awards The Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch (ADAVB) Council is calling for nominations for the ADAVB Awards. These Awards are designed to recognise significant contributions to at least one of the following: • • • •
Furthering the profession in a particular field of dentistry The ADA Dentistry as a whole The community as a whole.
A significant contribution could be in any of the following areas: public relations, research, involvement with the ADAVB, management, community service (including outside dentistry), dental health promotion, education or clinical advancement. All past and present members of the ADAVB are eligible for nomination for an ADAVB Award. Awards consist of a certificate and professional recognition through the Victorian Dentist, and will be formally presented to the successful nominee(s) at the next appropriate ADAVB function. The Branch Council believes the vast array of contributions to the community and dentistry made by members warrants recognition, and therefore encourages you to participate by nominating a colleague.
