The Prac ce Plus Network was developed to provide addi onal support to ADAVB members by establishing a network for their staff to assist with upda ng their skills and knowledge.

Any Prac ce Manager, Administrator, Dental Assistant or Recep onist working with an ADAVB member may a end Prac ce Plus Network Mee ngs, held quarterly.

This is an introductory overview to assist ADAVB member prac ces to:  comply with Federal Equal opportunity, Privacy, eHealth and State Health Records legisla on  recognise their legal requirement in rela on to service delivery, and  respect the rights of pa ents and staff. Includes a 15 minute a ernoon tea break, followed by a Privacy Informa on Session by Prac ce Plus Consultants, Teresa Davine & Sharon McMillan.

Guest Speaker ‐ Kylie Smith Educa on Consultant, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission Kylie is an experienced trainer, researcher, and evaluator with a par cular interest in u lising equal opportunity and human rights frameworks to improve the health of organisa ons, and promote the wellbeing of staff working within them.

Kylie has extensive experience in government, non‐government and private business sectors in the areas of equal opportunity and human rights, family violence, cultural and linguis c diversity, youth unemployment, indigenous health, alcohol and drug issues, and imprisonment with par cular focus on legal rights, social health and improving educa on and employment pathways.

Kylie has coordinated and implemented a number of training programs for a diverse range of organisa ons in equal opportunity law with a view to enhancing healthy work environments and building workplace capacity for effec ve and respec ul complaints resolu on.

Confiden ality and intellectual property All training materials and templates provided by ADAVB Prac ce Plus to the ADAVB Member/s and their staff under this Services Agreement remain Commercial in Confidence. ADAVB Prac ce Plus retains copyright in all materials developed and supplied to the ADAVB Member/s and their staff under this Services Agreement. ADAVB Prac ce Plus gives the ADAVB Member/s and their staff a non‐exclusive, non‐transferrable, royalty‐free licence (which may not be sub‐licenced) to use the copyright in those materials only in respect of the prac ce loca on(s) specified below and for no other purpose. Breach of our copyright will be viewed seriously.
