John Cho (ACT)
John is actively involved in teaching all areas of removable, fixed, and implant prosthodontics. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists, and travels widely as a speaker and fellow for the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He also delivers lectures and hands-on training for various implant companies, and holds clinical teaching positions at Charles Sturt University.
Prosthodontic complications and troubleshooting All facets of prosthodontic treatment are prone to complications – ranging from minor inconveniences to major problems for patients. As always, being able to identify potential problems sooner than later will minimise the frequency and severity of these problems. This presentation will explore a variety of complications that occur in prosthodontic practice, and propose various ways in which these complications can be prevented, minimised, and managed. At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: ÜÜ Identify a number of complications that may present in prosthodontic treatment ÜÜ Prevent and troubleshoot these problems with various methods.
