1. ‘The role of over the counter hygiene products: What should I tell my patient’ 2. ‘Periodontal Plastic Surgery’ Graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne in 1999, Luan worked in both public and private practice until 2003 when he commenced a Ph.D. in the field of periodontics looking at biomarkers for periodontal disease. Luan completed the didactic component of his specialist training in periodontics in 2009 and graduated with both degrees in 2010. Luan is a past president of the Australian Society of Periodontology (Victorian Branch). Luan is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist field of Periodontics. Luan is a past convener of the undergraduate periodontics program at the University of Melbourne and is currently in full-time private practice. Luan is still actively involved in teaching for the undergraduate and post-graduate students at the Melbourne Dental School and is an Honorary Fellow of the School.
PRESENTATION: Dr Chris Bell – ‘Tooth Resorption’ Dr Chris Bell is the principal dentist and owner of Maude Street Dental Surgery. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1983 and commenced working in Shepparton. He is now treating many third and fourth generations of families. Continually keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and protocols, his general practice covers all aspects of dentistry but he has a keen interest in orthodontics and crown and bridge.
