Sharon will discuss some of the steps in the due diligence process and outline professional and administrative requirements in setting up a practice. Teresa will focus on clinical set-up, including the sterilisation room and treatment areas. This will be followed by a short 15 minute presentation from Ray Smart of Oracle Design, who is kindly sponsoring this event.

Sharon McMillan, Practice Plus Consultant Sharon is a former Economics and Business Management Teacher and has a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum Development and a Diploma in Quality Auditing. She has worked as a Practice Manager for the past eighteen years in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Practice based on the Mornington Peninsula, where she is responsible for establishing the administrative processes and for monitoring its growth and development. Sharon has assisted many ADAVB member practices become accredited and regularly presents to members at workshops and dental group meetings.
Teresa Davine, Practice Plus Consultant Teresa has over 40 years’ experience in the dental industry and Teresa is well known and highly regarded consultant in the area of infection control. Teresa consults for the ADAVB Practice Plus and has a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, a Certificate IV in Oral Health Promotions, Certificate IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer and a Certificate in Lead Auditing. Teresa consults and shares her expertise to assist practices work efficiently and effectively within the current standards and guidelines.
