It is our pleasure to welcome you to our Fall 2023 Limited Reserve Bull Sale.

We appreciate you taking the time to review our offering. It is hard to believe that these bulls have never lived outside of a drought. 2022 was rough, but 2023 even more so with limited moisture and high temps. Despite the severe drought, the bulls have performed well and are probably tougher because of it. Not sure if 2024 will hold the same, but if it does, we know these bulls have passed the test! They are developed at home in mid Missouri on large fescue pastures (not pen raised) and exposed to everything you can throw at them...the heat, the cold, the rolling and rugged Ozark hills, fescue, locusts, grass, cedar trees, oak trees, creeks, rocks, etc. They are developed slowly with longevity in mind. Each bull gets a lot of exercise to build muscle. In addition, for their development they receive ADM AMP-T mineral and Accuration. Fresh water is available at both ends of their paddock. All bulls are up on their vaccinations, will have passed their BSE’s and are ready to go to work for you.

The foundation of our herd continues to be our highly maternal females. Our dams have proven themselves over the years – with many just now retiring at 15-16 years of age. Their longevity, structure, udder quality, feet and overall beauty have kept them here a long time. We enjoy liking what we see in our pastures and it’s even more rewarding to see their impressive calves. At the end of October, we will be offering females for sale. Feel free to contact Susan or I for details or text us if you would like to receive information on the female offering. Thanks again for reviewing. This fall may be the best time to purchase bulls at an affordable price, especially calving ease bulls with the expected increase in heifer retention and folks building back their herds. It’s sad to think that our 2 year olds and younger have not been out of a drought since their birth. We are pleased with the performance and appearance of the animals but can just imagine how great they would be if they had green grass to improve their nutrition. Despite the drought, 6799K performed well, coming into the world at 72 lbs and continuing to grow well. 6799K definitely has the look and is the efficient kind. Like his sire, he stands proud, is long spined, athletic, deep in the flank, and carries significant muscle from head to toe.
