Leap of Faith 2019 We are excited to celebrate our 7th Annual Leap of Faith event featuring tandem skydiving, live music, trendy food trucks, and our Fly-By Marketplace showcasing local vendors who are mobilizing change in the community at large! Proceeds from the event go to support Adeara Recovery Centre who for 20 years has helped women and their families struggling with addiction, poverty, trauma, and abuse. The women at the centre take a Leap of Faith every day—choosing hope over uncertainty, faith over fear, and taking a chance on themselves and others. You can help these women on their journey of healing and recovery by supporting this exciting event. Are you a passionate, brave, innovative changemaker who is willing to
soar from great heights to champion our cause? Then this opportunity is for YOU! Our tandem skydive begins at 14,000 feet, and we invite people of ALL ages (16+) to join us in the air as either corporate, individual, or student participants. The minimal fundraising amounts for each category are as follows: •
Corporate Jumpers - $3000
•
Individual Jumpers - $1500
•
Student Jumpers - $750
If this will be your first time jumping, have no fear. Participants will be paired with an experienced tandem jump coach and will receive jump training on the day of the event. In 2018, 40 jumpers participated in Leap of Faith, raising $85,000 for Adeara to continue offering its programs, activities, and services at the highest standard of quality care. This year, we have increased our fundraising goal to $125,000, which will go directly to helping women and children get their lives back. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

About Adeara Adeara is an accredited, long-term, residential recovery centre for women and their children. Staffed by a team of caring professionals, we provide women with the support and skills they need to break the cycle of addiction and find physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration. Through holistic and in-depth programming, the women we serve are empowered to make lasting changes in their lives. You can help us ensure that the most vulnerable women in our community–women suffering from the effects of addiction, trauma, and abusive situations–have the opportunity to recover in an environment of compassion, dignity, respect, integrity, and accountability.
