Don’t sit back and wait for artists to come to you, you can reach out to them also.
If you go to a show or exhibition and like what you see, introduce yourself and your venue to the artist.
Use your website, social media and advertise within your venue to make it known that you are interested in holding Fringe events.
TALK WITH ARTISTS! Chat to anyone who already performs or exhibits at your venue, or you can register a show that you already run in your venue as a Fringe event. If you run a weekly trivia night or a monthly open mic night, you can register it as a Fringe event!

Register your venue through Adelaide Fringe’s own AVR (Artist & Venue Registration) system. Head to avr.adelaidefringe.com.au to sign up and get started! WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER:
Remember that you will only be considered an official Adelaide Fringe venue when you have a registered Adelaide Fringe event booked in your venue.

Why not offer Fringe Members a food or drink deal? Why not run a drink or food special? It's easy to join our Fringe Dollars campaign. Why not give an artist’s discount or offer artists performing at your venue a free meal?

FRINGE MEMBERSHIP Targeted and integrated promotional opportunities to our Fringe-loving fans are available for venues, ranging from display advertising to hosting your own member event. You can even offer members a deal throughout the year as well as during Fringe time!
FRINGE DOLLARS Pull in the punters before or after their shows by offering a Fringe Dollar deal. Fringe Dollar deals mean free promotion to the Fringe audience, in the form of social media and eNewsletters, as well as being featured on the Fringe Dollar page of our website.
TALK TO YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL If you are outside of the CBD, talk to your local council to see what they can do to support you. Many councils see huge value in lots of Fringe activity in their area and you might be surprised at what they will do for you in ways of marketing and financial support.
