Epica wanted to pay tribute to the brands that have consistently won awards since our founding in 1987. Over the years Volvo has shown a commitment to creativity and pushed the boundaries of automotive advertising, while remaining true to its core attributes of safety and reliability. Other themes familiar to Volvo owners come through when one studies the advertising shown here: innovations aimed at making the driving experience easier and more confortable; a certain rigour when it comes to design; and a rather Swedish (if we may say so) concern for the environment. We’ve also noticed that while Volvo takes the business of automobile and truck design very seriously indeed, it is certainly not afraid to have fun with its communications.
