Primary Meditation Zone

- Primary meditation zone is located at the central area of the Spiritual centre.
- Stained ferrocement replicates the element of "earth"and a central water pond depicts the element of "water"
Exterior Meditation Zone
- Visitors gather into this area and its a merging zone between the people entering and leaving the Spiritual centre.
-People filter into quieter zones as they proceed into the main elemental confluence zone.
Exposed Concrete Walls
- Stairs align the visitors of the spiritual centre from the Southwest direction to the West direction for entering into the exterior zone of the main Spiritual centre.
- 300mm thick exposed concrete walls which are load bearing in nature.
Subterranean Walkway
- Luminous concrete floor with grey finish and glow in the dark feature.
- Ramps leading down to lower meditation zone with embedded water feature.
Intermediate Meditation Zone
- Intermeditate zones are a secondary meditation space outside the primary zone.
- The spiritual centre is made of ferrocement and concrete. The stepped form is reinforced with steel and the interior has cave like spaces moulded with ferro cement stained to the colour of the earth.
Vertical Supports + Service Areas
- 300mm thick exposed concrete load bearing walls support the Spiritual centre which is located vertically above the lower meditation zone.
- Services for the lower meditation zone are located behind lower level meditation zone.
Vertical Connections
- Concrete staircase connecting subterranean walkway to ground level courtyard.
- Courtyard acts a open overflow zone for library, community hall.
- Free space behind the spiritual centre allows for freeflow of wind and a visual break in elevation from the North side.
Exploded Axonometric of Reception
-Primary beams used are 80mm x 300mm.
-Primary beams are fitted into rammed earth walls which are set into the wall with L- Section.
- Secondary beams of Glue Laminated Timed are of the dimensions 40mm x 200mm.
- Services like air conditioning vent tubes, electrical conduits are suspended from the beam system and run along the floor.
- 150mm thick IPS flooring is used to have smooth grey contrast to brown walls
- Rammed earth and exposed concete 200mm thick walls are used as interior partitions
Sectional Perspective of Reception
- Alternate 100mm x 250mm tiles of terracotta and glass.
- 30mm thick tiles set into flexible steel grid.
- Waterproofing sealent between tiles to increase resistant to wind loads and water.
- Roofing system attached onto GLT beams with steel fixtures.
- 300mm thick exposed rammed earth walls are used for all exterior walls.
- Load bearing walls take weight of roof system, beams and services suspended from the roof.
- Structural glass used in openings to allow light into reception waiting area, break room and security block.
