MIRROR LAKE STATE PARK
Besides the glassy lake for which it’s named, this park features sandy prairies, natural wildflowers and a forest of pine and oak. The last weekend in February, Hayward is home to the finish line of North America’s largest cross-country ski marathon with skiers from 49 States and 22 countries. HUNT HILL AUDUBON SANCTUARY
A nature sanctuary, open to the public, covering over 600 acres of forests, meadows, and glacial lakes that are home to wildlife and rare Wisconsin plant life. RAILROAD MEMORIES MUSEUM
