Learning to Live by Faith aith in God is a powerful force that changes things when we release it. Every believer in Jesus Christ has been given a measure of faith (see Romans 12:3), and Romans 1:17 says, “The just shall live by faith” (NKJV).

It’s one thing to believe in Jesus as your Savior and exercise your faith for salvation, but there are many things we need to release our faith for after we are born again. Faith doesn’t end with our salvation; from that point, we’re supposed to live by faith. In Mark 11:22 (AMP), Jesus says we should “have faith in God [constantly].” Notice the word “constantly.” This doesn’t mean just once in a while or occasionally. It means we can live by faith all the time. It’s so important to get a revelation about this. For many years, I was saved and attended church but I didn’t understand that I could believe God for anything else that I needed. As a result, I didn’t have real peace and joy in my life. But once I decided to get serious with God and go deeper in my relationship with Him, I learned that I can exercise my faith in Him for the things I need. The truth is, there is nothing we cannot pray about, and no need we cannot lift up to Him and release our faith for Him to help us. Learn How to Build Your Faith Now faith can grow, but it only grows when we use it. It’s like a muscle. The way you build a bigger muscle is through eﬀort—you have to use it. As it grows, you have to use heavier weights or exercises that require greater effort to keep it growing. It’s the same way with our faith. We put our faith in God to get through a challenge or trial, and later on, another harder trial comes along. Eventually we find that things that used to bother us or were hard to deal with aren’t a problem for us anymore because our faith has grown. How Faith Works Galatians 5:6 tells us that faith works through love. And 4

in 2 Thessalonians 1:3 (NIV), Paul says, “Your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.” Love must grow for our faith to grow, so we need to be rooted and grounded in God’s love. This means that our understanding of how much God loves us has to grow in order for our faith to grow. Because the more you believe someone loves you, the more you’re willing to put your trust and confidence in them. When we receive the love of God, learn to love ourselves in a balanced way and let His love flow through us to others, then our faith in God will grow. How Much Faith Do You Have? If you want to know how much faith you have, pay attention to what you say, especially during hard times…or when you have to wait longer than you’d like…or when someone else gets what you want and you don’t have it yet…or when somebody mistreats you and God doesn’t vindicate you as quickly as you want Him to. Are you speaking words of faith that line up with God’s Word? These are times when we have to purposely exercise our faith. One way you can do that is by reminding yourself of scriptures like Matthew 6:25-33, which tells us we don’t have to worry because God will surely take care of us and meet our needs if we put our trust in Him. And talk to yourself: “I’m using my faith today. I’ll have what I need tomorrow when tomorrow comes.” What Faith Can Do There are so many things faith in God can do in our lives. Best Things First

nd this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is bestâ&#x20AC;Ś Philippians 1:9-11

How often do we resign ourselves to the "tyranny of the urgent"? If you're me, it's a daily struggle not to use that little phrase as an excuse for losing sight of the big picture. It's so much easier to take care of what's immediately in front of me instead of what should be first in my life. I'm a task-oriented Martha, so concerned with getting the job done that I forget to focus on Him first. I can tell myself that I'm doing my work "as unto the Lord" as much as I want, but I don't serve anyone when I get harried. You probably know the feeling; you tell yourself that you're cooking a wholesome dinner as a supreme act of service and love for your family - if they only appreciated how many other things you have to do besides stand over a stove! when little Anne asks if you'll help her find a favorite CD. Something boils over, and it's not the pot on the stove. In taking care of dinner, you've forgotten to feed a godly attitude of patience and love. That's me to a fault. James makes it clear that faith is constantly looking for ways to serve; like Martha, however, we can get so busy that we forget why we're doing it. I often catch myself thinking that if I'm not busy, I'm not "doing enough" for God. But then the act becomes its own end, instead of an outworking of love. Imagine Martha in the kitchen, fluttering around and looking for that special recipe to serve Jesus, while Mary just sat, soaking up His words. Martha's response to this was probably well-intentioned - that is, from a 6

human point of view. She was serving and wanted others to serve with her! But Jesus called her bluff. "Only one thing is needed," Christ said, "and Mary has chosen what is better" (Luke 10:42). Better? Lord, you mean that sitting at your feet and being quiet is better than my idea of being busy serving you? That's right.

I think I got a double-portion of Martha's spirit. Too often, I think that sitting and listening to Jesus is the same thing as sitting and doing nothing. I think it's laziness. Satan whispers that my time could be better spent doing than learning, and then the tyranny of the urgent takes over. But even Olympic acts of service are as nothing if not done in love (1 Corinthians 13), and only time at the feet of Jesus can teach me that.

Love leads to action, as Paul writes to the Philippian church, not the other way around. I can't "discern what is best" in my work and words unless I keep the very best in front of my eyes, like Mary. My prayer this week is that I will focus on Jesus and see how to love. Then the priorities will fall in line. Then I see what is best, because I see Jesus. Intersection of Faith & Life: We have to preach the Gospel to ourselves daily, as Jerry Bridges writes, so we never lose sight of what is first and last in importance. Reevaluate your commitments and make sure that you've set aside time to sit at the feet of Jesus before anything else. (Selected)

ccording to Malachi 3:10-12, there is a list of blessings for you as a tither that I’d like to bring your attention; believing that the knowledge of this will cause you to rejoice and remain grateful and faithful to God in what He has in stock for you. At the same time this will spur non-tithers to start tithing in order to come into the blessing realm that God has provided for them. When people tithe, they are acknowledging the Almighty God who is the Founder of heaven and earth and the giver of all things. This is what Abram did when he returned from battle, giving the tithe of the spoil to the priest of God (Gen. 14:18-24).

#1. Tithers work under open windows of heaven God says He will throw open the floodgates (windows) of heaven for tithers. Heaven locates God’s people where they are and brings them favor where they don’t know anybody. Now speaking of windows, one Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of KICC in U.K. said, “When window is open, you have light where there was darkness, you no longer experience confusion.” When others are in darkness, tithers are in the light. When your window is open (because you tithe), you are able to see what God is about to do. Window is for vision. You will know where your favor lies and are able to go there, because you are looking through the window. Jacob saw a ladder and he saw what had been scheduled for him in heaven (Gen. 28:10-17), then he said every tithe of what I get will go to God (Gen. 28:18-22). “People who do not tithe are living in windowless house and windowless lives, because to those who tithe, God shall open windows of heaven.” To operate without the window of heaven is to work under close heaven. Such man is blind and cannot see what is hidden. As photographers do, the only thing that is developed in the dark room is negatives. But for tithers, since their windows are open, meaning 8

they have light coming into their lives, they hear the words of God in Isaiah 60 which says, “Arise and shine for your light has come …” #2.Tithers operate under “So much blessings” Can you imagine living under this condition of blessings? Yes, it is possible if you and I will obey the commandments of God and worship Him with our tithes. #3. No room enough to receive: When God brings you into your own blessing, you receive favor and are able to bless others. This is a favor that is so much, there is no room enough. There is something called “no room enough blessing.” This is a corporate anointing that makes good things happen to all the people in the church; So there should be no non-tithers in the church, so that there will be so much blessings in the church of God. This is a realm where you are so blessed and the people around you begin to benefit from it. #4 –Tithers are exempted from the destructive dominion of devourers: Joel 1:4 For the disobedient, God can call for a drought upon their labor and everything around them (Haggai 1:11); but for tithers, God says He would guard your job against attacks and your income against waste and ruin.

Self-Examination: If you are a tither but have not been enjoying these blessings, first search your heart to examine whether or not you are totally faithful in tithing; whether you give at your convenience or all the time and from all that you earn. If you find yourself faithful, pray that God’s promises begin in your life today. If you have not been faithful, pray to God that He would help you to trust Him for who He is. If you just never believed in tithing, pray that God will help you hear him as He speaks to you and help you see what He has in store for you –to spur you into action.

“Drawn & Restored By His Love” hen Jesus Christ died on the cross, He paid the price for our fallen human nature, which we inherited through our first human parents. He also paid the price for all the times when we ourselves have acted contrary to the nature and principles of our Creator. Treason is punishable by death, and Jesus Christ took that punishment for us, enabling our restoration. But His action only provides the warranty. You have to accept the gift of being a brand new “product” in order to come under the warranty. You have to respond to it by making a personal decision to come under His offered warranty in order to receive the necessary forgiveness and restoration. Someone might ask, “Why would God send His Son to be a sacrifice for us? Why would God shed blood for us? Why would God experience punishment for us? Why would God raise Jesus from the dead and establish Him as King of Kings?” He did all of this to redeem us, because the authority we are carrying inside us is so awesome, it was worth His death. The earth needs you. It needs your purpose, your authority, and your gift. There are people who want to be restored to the Creator God but are afraid of Him.

They believe that to “fear” the Lord means to be scared of Him. But “fear” in regard to God means to respect Him; to have an awareness of all the power He has on your behalf. He can do great things for you through His power. If you have developed a fear of authority in relation to God over the years, this fear may have hindered you from receiving the restoration He offers you. In my own life, it took me a long time to understand and accept the truth that God isn’t mad at sinners. Paul of Tarsus, the great first-century theologian, wrote, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8). God is not angry with you for what you did that was wrong. He is hurt by it. Why? Because He knows that it hinders you from doing what is right. He knows that if He doesn’t help you, you will hurt yourself. He is not a monster and a destroyer— He is a redeemer and a restorer. Remember: “God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:17). Understanding the truth about God’s love and provision to restore us eliminates our fear of Him and His authority.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Praise God forever more!. I greet you dear honorable member of the kingdom of our God. I want to briefly bring to you what I have captioned ENOUGH IS Pastor Tim ENOUGH. First of all, I want to say our God says what He means and means what He says. He has never made an error in speech. If He created the languages, will He not speak appropriately? Remember it's impossible for Him to lie. His intention for his people is that we keep winning every fight or battle all the time, whether small, big or great. That is why it is said in 2 Corinthians 2:14 that, "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ...." Note always, not some of the time or most of the time, but always. He has programmed an ever-winning life for us. WHY ARE YOU BEING BEATEN CONSTANTLY.? Don't look sickly, broken, pitiful etc... I came through to tell you enough is enough. Without a reaction, there cannot be a possession. Wake up from your slumber, it's time to arise and take up your bed. I challenge you king, have you not read that you have been redeemed as kings and priests to reign on this earth? Revelation 5:10 says, you are a king, but you need to take great steps in order to arrive at that future. I can tell you that there is a price to be paid for the prize.

Ignorance is our greatest obstacle, not the devil nor the environment. He said in Hosea 4:6 that His own people are in captivity or have been stripped of honor, because they lack knowledge. The working knowledge of the truth is our greatest key into supernatural breakthroughs. Every breakthrough in the kingdom is traceable to the accurate application of the right word to the issue of concern. What we need is adequate light to deal with the issue at hand. Why are some having the best of times and some the worst of times?

your position if you are interested. If you shall hearken diligently to God's voice and observe to do his commandments then He will do for you.....Deut 28:1. Our God is a covenant-keeping God. Simply, it's about doing our part of the deal and His integrity and faithfulness will commit Him to do for us His part. You can rely on God, because it's binding on Him to perform if we do our part. This constant God cannot break His covenant nor alter the things that come out of His mouth...Ps 89:34. The reason we are in the current position is that we have not fulfilled our part of the covenant. I tell you, if you do your part you will automatically enter that desired condition. No one can beat God to it. There is no shortcut. The ranking or position in the church or otherwise does not exempt anyone, because the scriptures cannot be broken, not even by God. You cannot either.

Understand that we are above the devil. We died with Jesus and were raised up together with Him, and are currently seated with Him in heavenly places far above the devil and all principalities; unless God did not really mean it (Ephesians 2:6). By virtue of Christ’s redemptive work we are far above principalities and powers. The devil is no match for you. He is a fake lion but our Jesus who calls us His brethren in Hebrews 2:11 is the real lion of Judah who prevailed over the fake lion. Why are you being held down by a lack of power fake lion when you have the real “lionic” gene of Jesus in you? Understand that we share the same DNA with Jesus; which is a good thing to shout Halleluiah about. Enough is enough, begin to roar and free yourself. All it takes is to resist him and he will flee from you - James 4:7. Stop looking like a miserable battered beggar. You have been bought at the most precious price. You are no longer in the market place. You have been redeemed; therefore, rejoice! You can receive a life-transforming encounter with the Holy Ghost.

For lack of space, my nugget for you here is to embark on an unending search into the word of God. Remember it's not only the more sure word of prophecy, but there is something written concerning you in its pages. Search and search the scriptures, and not what preachers have told you. You got to do your own search, and after you have found that right word then there shall be a reward, and your expectation shall not be cut off. Prov. 24:13-14.

I invite you to join our service at 3366 white plains road in the Bronx from 4pm-6:30 pm. By the grace of God, you will be taught how to shake off and loose yourself from any grip of the devil. I decree a new dawning to you; take it and receive a visitation from the Lord. Rejoice and begin to celebrate God, because you are already coming out of the devil's prison house. Be blessed. Generational Transference saw a father walk into a store with two elementaryaged girls. I assume they were his daughters. The man was wearing a t-shirt with a horrible vulgarity on it—the kind of thing that still shocks me to see in public.

I looked at the man and wondered to myself what he was thinking. How did he justify putting on that shirt and wearing it in front of two impressionable young girls? (Not to mention all the other kids who saw his shirt that day and every other days he wore it.) Talk about selfish and short-sighted behavior! This is an example of how easy it is When parents sin— for parents, unless they repent and change their behavior— grandparents, and other autheir children will althority figures ways pay a price to focus only on what they want today, rather than thinking about the future. What values was that father passing on to his daughters? The inheritance we leave our descendants is more than just money. We pass along our strong values. We leave behind our good name, our positive example of marriage, our parenting and life skills, our demonstrations of aﬀection, and our spiritual guidance. (Or, we pass along the absence of those things.) Whether bad or good, every parent influences the generations that follow him or her. Godly parents understand the power of their influence and use it wisely. They want to extend the blessings of their lives to their children and future generations. Leaving a good inheritance to future generations never happens by accident, because righteousness doesn't happen by accident. We live in a sin-filled world with an 16

evil enemy stalking us daily. Living a life that has a happy ending requires premeditation and tough choices. But if we pursue godly lives we will be blessed for it. And, those blessings will be passed along to future generations. Unfortunately, though, the opposite is also true. When parents sin—unless they repent and change their behavior—their children will always pay a price. This is especially true of parents with children at home under the age of 18. Every action, good or bad, has a generational impact whether we realize it or not, and whether we intend it or not. In Exodus 34, the Lord says that the sins of fathers are visited upon their children, and their children's children, even to the third and fourth generation. This is called generational transference. Negative or positive, everything parents do aﬀects their great-great-grandchildren! Parents who live unrighteous lives do so because they don't think beyond the moment, or they believe their behavior has no bearing on the future. This is a delusion. With every behavioral choice, the questions we should be asking are: What impact will this decision today have on my children tomorrow? How will it aﬀect my grandchildren? Generational transference happens whether you intend it or not. Will yours be positive or negative? This will be determine by the choices you make today…and every day. Blessings,

Important Facts You Need To Know About The Flu he Flu season is here so here are some important facts that you need to know in order to protect yourself and your loved ones.

DEFINITION & CAUSES Influenza, commonly called the flu, is a viral infection that attacks your respiratory system, which includes your, nose, throat and lungs. The flu viruses travel through the air in droplets when someone with the infection sneezes, coughs or speaks. The germ containing droplets can be inhaled directly or picked up oﬀ objects such as door knobs, telephones, and computer key boards, and then transferred to your eyes, nose and mouth. SYMPTOMS Common signs and symptoms include; Generalized body aches, especially in your back, arms and legs. Fever over 100 F (38 C), Fatigue and weakness Headache, Dry Cough, Chills and sweats, Nasal Congestion Initially, the flu may seem like a common cold, with a running nose, sore throat and sneezing. However, colds usually develop slowly, whereas the flu comes on suddenly. RISK FACTORS Factors that may increase your chances of contracting the flu virus and its complications are as follows; Age: Seasonal flu tends to target young children and people over 65 years. Occupation: Child care personnel and Healthcare workers are more likely to contract the virus because they work closely with people infected with the flu. Chronic illnesses: Chronic conditions inclusive of diabetes, asthma and heart problems may increase your risk of flu complications. Living Conditions: People who live in facilities 22

along with many others such as military barracks, nursing homes, dormitories, etc. have a greater risk of developing influenza. Weakened Immune Systems: HIV/AIDS, Cancer treatments can weaken the immune system and make it easier for you to catch the flu and increase your risk of developing complications. Pregnancy: Pregnant women are more likely to develop flu complications, particularly in the second and third trimesters.
