01LAGOS RECYLCE STADIUM This project is located on the Olusosun land ll which is located in Lagos, Nigeria. Current problems in the site and community around it are ooding and the accumulation of trash. As an atempt to solve these problems the topography is cre- ated with a mix of trash and dirt that is currently on the site. When it rains, the water will be directed by the topogra- phy in to several collection areas. Areas that should not be ooded are at a higer level. This keeps programs out of the water and uses the materials that are found on the site in a productive way. This stadium will be an inte- gral part of the community with many needs and activities for people. Accessibility to an open rooftop with plenty of room for activities and circula- tion and the use of many foors as a community center invites the public in. (For this project i was in a group with two other classmates. All the drwings presented were done by me.)

02 STUDENT HOUSING I decided that a space that creates community, a space to grow food, and a space that was flexible were necessary for a dewling. The site for the project is located at 6th Ave and Monroe Street in downtown Phoenix. The project is focused on col- lege students due to how close the site is from down- town. The housing portion of the project is lifted 20 ft above ground level to leave the gorund for public use. The ground level has a library and a coffee shop to be used by the public and students living there. It also has space for events to be held on and for people to do different activities.

03 FUTURE DMV We were asked to redesign the relationship be- tween public service (dmv) and public space. This project is located in little italy, San Diego with a site that is only 100ft by 100ft. The purpose of the design is to delete or at least blur the boundary between the public service and public space. Essentially most of the design is open to the regular public, even most parts of the dmv. I also have platforms that can serve as a waiting area for the dmv but also as a hang-out space for people visiting the site. To have activity in all of them I added a coffee place and a daycare on the top platform. this brings activity in the ground as well as in the platforms. There is a market hap- pening on Ceddar street every weekend. In order to attract people to the site, I allow food trucks to come in so the site becomes an informal gathering space.
