Form and Rules Adrián González — 3d Typography — Inst. Ernesto Aparicio — Winter Session 2017
Context
The idea for this exhibit is that typographic and graphic elements introuduce the concepts in 15 Rules by architect Christopher Alexander; in abstract, all elements of design are presented as visual and playful diagrams. The chronology in which the 15 Rules are presented is a clockwise swirl around the gallery. A complimentary element of the execution is in the middle of the gallery where one can find sculptures from the RISD Museums’s archive of furniture, and sculpture in order to strengthen the fifteen concepts.
