When I was 7 I started painting and drawing, as a pupil of the belgian painter Annette Deletaille, who taught me strong bases on perspective and composition that I try to apply in every work. She also transmitted to me the importance of painting directly from your environment, capturing the feeling and mood of every moment with strenght and spontaneity. I have been part of the group ‘Los jóvenes pintores de Coín’, doing my first solo exhibition when I was 16 in Malaga and graduating later as an architect in 2016. Now, I combine my job as an architect with my artistic work, going through a great variety of techniques: starting with pastel, then oil and acrilics and discovering watercolour later, technique that I think takes the most out of my personality, since everything is visible and there is no comeback. As a painter, I have won prices along the south of Spain, as plein air contests. I have been teacher during 3 years of a course that explored fast drawing on location in Granada. I am part of the Andalusian watercolour Society and I play an active role in the Urban sketchers group.
