Want To Keep All The Advantages of Living On Campus?

HERE ARE THREE GREAT OPTIONS:

1

Move to a UCR Campus Apartment

With months of Residence Hall experience under your belt, you’re probably thinking, “I’m totally ready for my first apartment.”

We think you’re ready too. At one of our seven UCR Campus Apartment communities you’ll get independence, but without having to give up any UCR Housing advantages, including zero commute time, having friends and professors close by and staff on hand 24/7.

2

Stay in the Residence Halls

Not only are Residence Hall spaces available for returning residents like you, you have first crack at the room of your choice. Have you always coveted that corner room with the great view? Now’s your chance to grab it!

3

Be one of the first residents of North District 2, our newest star on north campus

North District 2 is UCR’s newest, campus apartment community, including seven different fully-furnished floor plans! And current residence hall residents get the first opportunity to reserve one of 1200+ available spaces.

WHAT DO I DO FIRST? AND WHEN?

BEFORE YOU DECIDE:

1. Take a 360 Virtual Tour of nearly all of our campus housing communities at housing.ucr.edu.

2. Join a hosted video tour of our campus apartment communities. Watch your email for the date/time.

3. February 25 & 26: Mark your calendar for the North District 2 “hard hat” room viewing. Watch your email for more information to come.

IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A UCR CAMPUS APARTMENT:

• February 1 - 14: Submit a priority Campus Apartments Application

• February 12 - March 2: Roommate Self-Selection Period

• March 3: Random timeslots for Room Self-Selection will be announced. Space is not guaranteed.

IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN ONE OF THE RESIDENCE HALLS:

FEBRUARY 1-14: Submit a Residence Hall contract during this period (at myhousing.ucr. edu) and get an exclusive opportunity to selfselect a room anywhere in any Residence Hall during Room Self-Selection .

After this date, you’ll be competing with incoming freshmen for remaining spaces, and can’t be guaranteed a room.

UCR HOUSING COMMUNITIES

RESIDENCE HALLS

For many students, living in a residence hall is the ultimate college experience: a lively space where rooms, meals and lives shared, a home where residents often get their first taste of independence.

In fact, you’re never more than a few steps away from classes, restaurants, shops, libraries, or the Rec Center.
