Ramstein honors women during luncheon Story and photo by Senior Airman Caitlin O’Neil-McKeown 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Women’s History Month is in its third week and Ramstein hosted its annual luncheon Monday to celebrate some of the great women who helped forge history. This year’s theme is women inspiring innovation through imagination. “This year is dedicated to celebrating women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics,” said Master Sgt. Richard Cring, 86th Security Forces Squadron NCOIC of commander support staff. “McMullen is just one of the many women who encompasses all of these traits. The event was able to bring her out to the community and provide them with the opportunity to hear her story.” Dr. Dell W. Lars Zetterstrom, U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern commander, will host a commander’s corner Wednesday on both American Forces Network radio and Facebook. The forum is designed as an opportunity for KMC members to ask questions or voice local concerns. Zetterstrom will share news and information about local community programs and upcoming events.
