KMC remembers children at Kindergraves ceremony Story and photos by Senior Airman Jonathan Stefanko 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs U.S. service members gathered alongside German community members to honor 451 children who passed away during the years 1951 to 1971 as part of the Kindergraves memorial service May 16 in Kaiserslautern. together to honor the fallen Airman, who lost his life while deployed in Afghanistan in 2013. Chief Master Sgt. Jason Parker, 86th Mission Support Group superintendent who was deployed with Lobraico, gave opening comments before the run. The squadrons also held a display at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center to educate the community about different aspects of their jobs.
