Airfares The best airfares indicated under each product are sample fares available to Escapades at the time of printing and Escapades shall not be liable for any subsequent changes implemented by airlines. We recommend that these prices may be used as a fair guideline to budget the air travel needs of your US vacation. These do not any taxes, airport implemented fees, week-end or fuel surcharges, if any. Check with Escapades staff for up to date airfares available for any destination featured in this brochure. Special offers and Sell offs do come up regularly at short notice. Deposits & Final Payment Policy: Escapades requires a C$300 per person to process a booking. Except for Special Groups, payment in full is required for a booking 45 days prior to the departure dates. Bookings made within the 45 days window prior to the departure date are accepted with full payment only. Room occupancy in the USA: Under tour prices, you will find prices for single occupancy as well as 2,3 or 4 persons sharing room basis. Hotels in the US do not generally guarantee a separate bed for triple/quadruple occupancy rooms. Child prices under each tour apply to children sharing existing bedding with 2 adults. Rollaway beds are available for a minimum charge paid direct to hotel. Please note this is usually not possible in National Parks and in some older hotels. Rooms for occupancy by 2 persons may have either one double bed or two beds. Room occupancy in the US is limited to 4 persons per room or fewer. What is included in Escapades America programs? You may even take your own car. To assist you in choosing the right car rental type for your vacation, our price guide offers prices for various car categories against the each tour duration Not included: Air travel from/to your home city, admissions, porterage, tolls, ferries, parking fees and snow-chains. Car rentals do not include, gasoline, tolls and ferries, additional insurances, local taxes and fees, infant seat charges or surcharges for additional drivers. All drivers must be in possession of a valid driver’s license. An international driving permit alone is not acceptable. Car rental terms and conditions subject to change. Escorted Motor coach itineraries & Hotels: Escapades reserve the right to make changes with or without prior notice prior to or during the operation of 2005/6 programs in this brochure due to operational, climatic conditions or for any reasons beyond the control of Escapades and its US suppliers. Itinerary descriptions are guaranteed with the exception of unforeseen conditions, which include, but not limited to, weather, acts of god, safety concerns, changes to highway legal restrictions and acts by third parties beyond the control of Escapades and its local suppliers. Escort & Equipment Change: On certain escorted motor coach tours a change of escort or equipment may take place for operational reasons. Luggage on Escorted Tours: On motor coach tours, each passenger is allowed one piece of checked baggage per person due to space limitations. Additional baggage will be charged USD 5 per person per day by the coach company. Due to nature of the coach tours, bags are handled many times, so a durable and clearly labeled bag is required to and retrieved from, hotel room at each destination. Escapades cannot assume responsibility for damaged or lost luggage. Travellers are recommended that they carry adequate travel insurance to cover against lost or damaged luggage. Force Majeure Circumstances: Any failure to perform, delay, liability or damage shall be excused and Escapades and its suppliers shall not be held responsible for consequences of acts of god, labour disputes, civil commotions, fire, weather conditions, theft, unavoidable accidents, war, terrorism, threatened acts of terrorism, acts of state or agencies thereof, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Escapades and its suppliers. Escapades and its operating partners shall not be liable should it be required to change an itinerary or individual booking, hotel accommodation or other services necessary for the safety and continuation of any tour or passenger or due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Escapades.

Rewards Program Escapades reserve the right to modify or change any published rate where changes and modifications have been made and are required by any entities beyond Escapades’ ownership or control. Escapades shall not be held responsible for any error, omission, or deletion of the material in the brochure by Escapades or any third party. Responsibility: Escapades does not manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel or any other supplier of services, and therefore assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused through any defect in any vehicle or through the acts or omissions of any company or person engaged in supplying products or services. Escapades recommend that all passengers be required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including medical and air evacuation. Escapades liability, should it be found responsible by a court of competent jurisdiction, is limited to a refund of services purchased through Escapades. Complimentary services offered by some hotels may be discontinued at any time at the hotel’s discretion and Escapades is not responsible for cancellation of such complimentary services. Passengers need Special Assistance: Passengers with special needs or a disability must advice Escapades of any required assistance at the time of the reservations are made. Altitude & Climate: The diverse nature of the US creates magnificent scenery and at the same time provides days when passengers will travel through varying altitudes, from below sea level to more than 10,000 feet above sea level. It is the responsibility of passengers to seek advice from their doctor regarding the effects of altitude and advise Escapades prior to departure of any such limitations. Passengers, who for medical reasons have limitations on altitude, will be responsible for any costs incurred if they are required to alter their personal itinerary. If You have a Complaint: We do our best to give our customers an enjoyable trouble-free holiday but occasionally even the best-laid plans can go wrong. If you encounter a problem, you are required to immediately inform the local representatives of Escapades (usually suppliers like hotel or transporter) and our local Escapades escorts/representatives who will endeavour to put things right (in any event not later than 24 hours). If the complaint is not completely resolved locally, please follow this up within 14 Days of completion of the services by writing to our Customer Services Department, giving your original booking or invoice number and other relevant information. It is therefore a condition of this contract that you will communicate any problem to the Escapades representatives or its service provider while at the destination, hotel or resort as this will be a part of our investigation to rectify the problem. Should any of our representatives, hotels or service providers be unable to resolve any issues on the spot, we urge you obtain their explanations in writing (verbal explanations are unacceptable) and produce them with your official complaint. Passenger Hotline: You will never be more than a phone call away from assistance by our local representatives. The 24-hour customer service lines are toll free and these numbers will be clearly indicated in your service vouchers and documents.
Pre & Post Tour hotels Escapades offer attractive rates at hotels in every city where your tour, city or resort stay starts and ends. Should you need to arrive early and/or depart late, simply ask your travel agent to book when you book your tour. Hotel rates are valid for unlimited number of nights at each hotel. For a list of hotels and prices, please refer to page XX of the price guide.

Points are given in increments of 1000 and awarded after your trip is completed. There are no partial points and dollars spent do not carry forward for more points. Points are not transferable to another person. If we cancel a tour, your points will revert back to you if you put points towards that booking. If you cancel from a tour, the normal cancellation policy will apply—you cannot use points for the cancellation fee, but any points you put towards the tour will revert back to you. You also cannot use points for the tour deposits.
