My weekend

The weekend was the last bit of the school holidays for me and Jeremy and we wanted to make the most of it. So on the weekend we did lots of things like camping, going on our scooters and digging trenches for our war games with Nerf guns. For my birthday a few weeks ago I got a tent because I love going camping. So on the weekend dad built the tent with me and Jeremy and it is really cool with lots of room inside. I also got this camping bunk which you can put together but it came missing this important part so we’re not allowed to sleep on it until we get the part. But it didn’t matter because we just slept on the floor of the tent on little mattresses. Jeremy built a fire and we cooked marshmallows on sticks and that was great.

Also mum took Jeremy and Amelia and me to the park to ride around on our scooters and little Amelia has got a little pink scooter just for her and she really loves it. She can’t quite ride it by herself yet but she loves it when I push her along and she goes “goooooo, goooooo” with a big smile. After that Jeremy and me kept building fortifications for when we have Nerf gun wars like with trenches and sand bags. Jeremy uses a trench making shovel that folds up from when dad was in the Air Force but I have my own one. And also Dad took us to the Blue Topaz Diner near Stanthorpe and I got loaded fries and we all had strawberry milkshakes which are our favourite and dad even drank two of them. I don’t like the cherry on top so I always give it to Dad.

The holidays are finished now and that means I’m back at school but at least I had a good time.
