Allora Days For Girls News

Warwick Gliding Club has for several years donated an air experience flight as a prize for the Days for Girls raffle. The 2022 winner was Judy Neilson who along with her friend Toni Williamson thoroughly enjoyed their flights with instructor Dennis Nolan. Allora and District Days for Girls appreciates the donation which helped to raise much needed funds for the group and heartily thank Warwick Gliding Club.

The next gathering for Days for Girls will be next Monday 24th April where we will be starting to pack kits for the latest request. These kits will be going to Vanuatu as well as the kits to go to Timor Leste as part of a Rotary project in May this year. Help us to try and pack 100 kits for Vanuatu.

Please consider coming along with a variety of jobs to be done by sewers and non-sewers alike. Even if you can’t attend our monthly gatherings, there is certainly sewing which can be completed at home. If you’re interested please contact one of our executive team
