Stockman’s Challenge

Making its debut at the 2021 Show, the Stockman’s Challenge was an instant success.

Show Secretary Adele Saville said there has already been a fair bit of interest so this is one not to miss.

Riders compete in age groups and take their horses through a variety of challenges that test the skill of rider and horse.

Any breed of horse can compete and riders can use any type of saddle.

Horses are required at various stages of the course to walk, trot and canter and presentation of horse and rider is also a judging criteria.

The Stockman’s Challenge begins immediately after the Equine Sporting Events that start at 10.00 am and both competitions are a must see for horse lovers.
