Countdown is on to December 17

With less than two weeks until the December 17 deadline, Oakey residents are being urged to prepare by ensuring they have linked their COVID-19 digital certificate to the Check In Qld app or have an alternative method to prove they have been fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be required at many local businesses including hospitals and aged care homes, hospitality venues such as hotels, pubs, taverns, restaurants or cafés and indoor and outdoor

entertainment venues. “From 17 December, all Queenslanders and visitors will need to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status as a condition of entry to many businesses and locations,”

Minister for Small Business Leeanne Enoch said. “People can also download a copy of their COVID-19 digital certificate to their Apple wallet or Google Pay to show or provide a printed
