Cambooya hosts Seniors Morning Tea
The fourth edition of Seniors Morning Tea, which has been travelling around local towns, made its way to the recently renovated Cambooya Public Hall last Wednesday. This month, the Cambooya Friendship Group welcomed the Seniors Morning Tea to join their fun. Shannon Priebbenow of Priebbenow Silage, who helped to organise the event, said combining both groups made for a fun morning of a delicious social morning tea, games of Hoy and much laughter. “It was a perfect recipe to build friendships and reduce social isolation for seniors within our community,” Mrs Priebbenow said.
Carol Priebbenow, who also helped to organise the event, said it was so wonderful to see different social groups coming together and building new friendships. Continued on page 14
